And this was on our tent one morning when camping a few years back. My severely hungover ass definitely contemplated burning the tent upon this discovery

I totally get that and would have had the same reaction
One of those is in my first post on this thread 
(2 years ago). It’s a yellow garden spider and they’re completely harmless. There was an egg sac near the one I found that kinda looked like a fig so you probably would’ve seen it, but I totally understand ditching the tent

That’s quite a lizard! We have a really small one (compared to that) that lives near our front door. My cats would go crazy if they saw your spiny guy.
