Second to last hot yoga class. Continues to be brutal. Overall enjoyed but damn.

Not doing yoga this morning, catching up on TS instead. But I am awake early enough to do it in theory. Gearing up to getting back to Dedicate tomorrow
Most likely will continue on my own at home using YouTube and such. It does help my mind shut down.
I have a very odd question Do you ever see people wearing socks in yoga? (Not the toe-less socks)
Not a single one at any session I attended. I don’t even know how that’s possible!
Only in restorative or yoga nidra. Otherwise only the sticky ones or toe/heel cut out yoga ones.
No I sometimes wear mine until I’ve warmed up if it’s cold. And back on for savasana.

I’m just very odd in that I don’t like to be barefoot in public but I can learn to get over that.
I think being uncomfortable about feet is pretty common. A yoga class is a safe space though.
And no one will notice your feet because they will be too busy trying not to laugh at the farting and snoring
Yes you’re very right. I’m just super self conscious. But I need to learn to let these things go. Thank you for the laughs

Those who use or have used the Insight Timer app/site, I’ve had a meditation by Sarah Blondin that shook me bookmarked the past couple months. Now trying some of her others, seems to me she may be sympathetic to those in recovery. Very much recommend.
Also I just caught a 1/2 off the first year IT subscription deal I think runs through November.

Just back from yin, which I desperately needed as I really got myself sore after Monday’s tabata. Was a great stretch for body and mind.
