This are sad news. My heart goes to you and Captain Kruger. I pray for you Well, when it’s time to go, it’s time to go. We love our pets deeply and I think they feel it. Sending much love to you both.

We are fine, the cats are looked after by the catsitter as I’m on fasten week. I already miss them and I’m looking forward to saturday to pet them again.

I’m so sorry to read this Fran. I read it earlier and I didn’t know what to say. . Poor guy. It makes me so sad. I feel like I know him and how cool he is. And I know how awful you must feel. But none of that helps I’m so sorry. Maybe they can get his arthritis under control. Maybe that’s the reason he’s not eating. I hope it’s not something else internal. I’m glad you got a vet appointment in the morning. When we finally got Alice’s arthritis under control and her kidney infection, she started eating again. I hope they can find something that can fix him. I’m so sorry you and the Captain are going through this. Thoughts, prayers, well wishes and love going out to y’all.

Thanks @Dazercat . Such lovely words. It’s so hard, as we’re hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. He’s just the nicest, patient and cool cat I’ve ever known. I will miss him sleeping on my head at night. Keeping everything crossed x
