Big Trouble in Little China just made me realize I’m a dope and completely forgot to list one of my favorite 80s movies –

Escape From New York!

I was Snake Plissken for Halloween a few years back.

OMG She was my first crush:heart_eyes::sweat_smile:

Nice, I remember that it was a huge one at our local gym when I was a kid. I used to sneak in there just to watch it.

Same with kids cartoons and series in my opinion. Most of it was so much better in the 80-90s.

Haha! That’s awesome!

Not necessarily my favorites, but quintessential 80s movies.

The Dark Crystal
The Neverending Story
The Secret of NIMH

Bonus non 80s movie

Zardoz (now on Hulu)

welcome to the world of “get off my lawn”. With a few exceptions, I think most of what comes out of Hollywood these days is crap. 80’s B movies are better than what’s new these days.

Speaking of 80s movies… anyone ever notice that the guy from “Pet Semetary” is a dead ringer for Tony Romo? (Non-Americans – former American football quarterback)

Strong memory with that one.

Night of my senior prom, I stayed home alone. I watched Nightmare On Elm Street, and chugged the 8 beers I had smuggled into my bedroom with my school bag.

The signs of what was to come…
