Yay: today makes a week sober and I feel more committed than I have in my previous few attempts. I feel excited about it.
Nay: I was irritable and grouchy tonight for no good reason.

That sucks Courtney, I’ve lost a few dogs now and the last one was since I’ve been sober, it was a lot easier to deal with than any other, I was able to process it much better. After he was gone we bought him home and put him in the garden and planted a tree for him. The time before I wailed and got drunk for 2 solid weeks and it wasn’t pretty. Lots of hugs, you will get through this

Yay~ Went on a ride around the island and got to see some massive waves 
it was awesome!
Nay~ Received sad news about one of our tenants… his cancer is incurable and has spread. My heart breaks for his young family. Praying so hard for them

Today’s yay is I quit my job that I didn’t like and now I have a few days off before I start my new one.
Nay of the day is not working makes me want to drink to pass the long days.

Yay: I listened to my body and my instincts and took a break today.
Nay: I needed the break because the smoke in the air was pretty bad today and we had burning eyes, I had a headache off and on all day and it felt hard to breathe.

Yay: Waking my daughter up for school, she was in a good mood and it was a good start to the day.
Nay: I didn’t really get a lunch break, I try not to do that because I enjoy the recharge time.
