Did about 8 miles today, going along the Welsh Coastal Path from our campsite. I never knew sheep could be so agile, they were running along the side of some very steep hills. Lots of lovely sunshine which has sadly disappeared now.

We came back down the pyg track. Quite a challenge as there was a mist and the tracks wasn’t that well defined. Good though. That starts at the outdoor center. There’s a regular bus to and from llanberis

Obviously Crib Goch is the toughest, definitely if you’re afraid of heights- but the most fun

Pyg / miners are cool though and relatively easy. I’ve done it with my daughter strapped to my back so you’ll manage if you’ve got a good core of fitness

I want to do Crib Goch. But I will never get the wife up there. I wouldn’t want to do it on my own first time though.

Have you walked any ridge before? If not I’d suggest Helvellyn in the Lakes for a practice, it’s not as intense

No, that’s what I mean. Need a bit of experience. Or someone who’s done it. I’ve heard of Helvellyn.
I’m going to have to plan some longer weekend trips aren’t i.?

@DarrenUK @anon12657779 cheers guys. Might try going up miners or pyg and back down Llanberis so we can just crawl into our hotel. And maybe Crib another time. 2020 TS trip? :grin:

It is gorgeous here. I am doing the no fly 2020 thing (we already decided we wouldn’t go abroad this year) and it doesn’t feel like a sacrifice at all. So many beautiful places in the UK! Although there is the weather to deal with, but I actually quite like the sound of a bit of rain on a tent :joy:

Ha yea trying to find shoes/jacket/loo roll etc in the middle of the night to go to the loo isn’t the best. But it’s character building!! :rofl:
