Ah, that’ll be a no then. You’ll be one of those that likes their comfort then?
Yeah we went up on the Saturday stopped in a luxury yurt and did Snowdon on the Sunday, with the plan to go home after. Haha. We ended spending another night up there. We literally had enough energy to get something to eat and crawl into the tent that we got through Airbnb.
I like the idea of it, just dont think I could sleep on the floor, or be far from a toilet.
They do airbeds now Fran!
Ok count me in (how do you blow it up?)
You know the thing you yap with and the 2 airbags in your chest…
Oh what?! That’s sounds like hard work to me!
No got airpumps these days. Even got battery ones so your foot doesn’t get tired.
Ok cool as long as someone else can carry all these new fandangled contraptions I will ho camping.
Tom actually did blow ours up because the battery on the pump had gone. He felt quite dizzy after
Ha we’re a few days out of sync! Weather is looking ok for tomorrow, we’re going to go up Pyg and down Llanberis.
Haha, yeah can do that. Teach him for forgetting spares. Was he ever a scout?
Yep @anon12657779 I’d definitely be up for a TS cheeky outing.
Let’s see if @Frantasticooo can be converted into an avid backpacker
She is, it’s called carrying Marley!
On second thoughts I’ll carry the air bed and pump, they wonnt wriggle and scream!
Snaps from Snowdon. Had some sun (although still a bit windy) on the way up but there was a big cloud at the top so no views. Stopped for a bite to eat, seagulls didn’t get any despite their best efforts nice sunshine on the way down. All in about 8 miles in 5 hours ish.
First walk/hike (what’s the difference?) in quite a while. Usually I bike in summer and walk in winter or on holidays. Now I walked to the airport to pick up my bestie. Urban with a bit of nature tucked in. Late summer flowers. Not bad. 17.5 km.
I haven’t been out much the list the year’s but here’s my peak bagger list
