Today was good. I had no cravings at all. It seems @Olivia was right when she said that my struggles could be related to my exams.
I got up nice and early. The weather was nice, and I had slept sufficiently. I was going to cycle to school with someone, but she was 15 minutes late. So I waited at the meet-up point. I was standing fairly still when a squirrel passed me from less than 10cm/4". That is definitely going to be a “once in a lifetime” event as in The Netherlands, squirrels are both rare and terrified of humans.
My Spanish test went amazing. It will definitely be a passing grade. I’m pretty sure that I have successfully finished my exams, which is awesome.
When cycling home, my tire popped 5km/3 miles from my house. I noticed tremendous progress in my response. Two years ago, I would have started crying and attacking my bike. I’d panic, call my mom to help me and probably be upset with her if she couldn’t pick me up.
Today, however, I straight away called into work telling my boss I’d be up to half an hour later. Then I called my mom to tell her I’d be a lot later home. And then I walked and ran home at such a high pace that I managed to come to work on time. There was a problem. I took a minute to think of the best approach. I then successfully solved my problem.
My work went okay too. I had to work an additional 30 minutes as there were quite a few new people who don’t work at a good pace yet. But I don’t have a problem with working longer as I get paid for it. And I wouldn’t do anything useful at home anyway. Now it’s time for me to find my bed. Goodnight all

Buena idea! Hace un tiempo habia un topic de personas que hablaban español, pero nunca escribi ahi y buen trabajo Jan es dificil conjugar en español, pero lo estas haciendo bien!.

I am nearing the 3-day mark. I’m quite happy with myself. Getting out of bed was hard, but I did it. I had to go to school because I was told that someone I need to talk to would be at school today. Not the case. So I cycled 15km/9 miles to school on my mom’s bike with “soft” and bent tires. Which also was way too small for me, so it hurt my knees. And then I had to go back, as it was pointless for me to be at school.
Really bad start to the day. I didn’t really do anything besides taking a nap in the sun after that. Oh and I sent a formal rant to my boss about the fact that today marked 20 weeks since he promised me that I’d be taught how to work the register. I didn’t attack him, I simply told him that it made me feel insecure as I was blaming myself for not being good enough at my job. He just made excuses why I hadn’t been taught how to work the register yet. Coincidentally, the guy under my boss, but above me got sick of my boss and took matters into his own hands. So he asked me if I had time to come into work to learn how to work the register today. So now I know how to work the register . And the fact that he pulled it of 280 times faster than my boss(0,5 days) simply proves that my boss was making excuses. I also had a discussion on the forum itself where I didn’t force my opinion onto people… PROGRESS!!!

Ive just missed 3 busses in a row. The first one I missed because someone wanted to talk to me at school, the second because it left 5 minutes early and the third drove straight past me. The busses go every 30 minutes, so really annoying.

I just realized that my memories of GTA are deteriorating. I’m listening to a song right now and it took me over a minute to remember if it was in GTA or not, which usually takes a second or two

Something is definitely wrong with me. While I was at work, I forgave myself for making a mistake whilst working the register. And whilst I was tidying up the store, I thought to myself: “I’m doing fantastic”. What the fuck?!?!?!

Because there is no reason for you to be so harsh on yourself, i do get it we have to do it right or it doesn’t feel natural!
Being nicer to yourself makes a difference, giving yourself that positive acknowledgement is you navigating life as an individual.
You for a long time have had an educational input and parental input, when you do something wrong at school the response is to correct you and the same from a parent (not negatively)
You in your brain are developing yourself as an adult, you are starting to progress and find who you are more as an individual.
I’m so very proud of you, your capability and your adaption.
I know how hard you work on understanding things that are in your environment you mister are brillant.
