You four made my day! My latest Video incorporated my latest additions to my film crew.
I had my newest discovery the Insta 360 camera going. Its has a pretty big learning curve but I’m getting it figured out. It films a full 360 degrees. Then the software can track whatever you tell it to in the editing process. Its small and is like having a film crew in your pocket. I was so impressed that I got another one. Its a little more expensive than the latest GoPro Hero 9.
About 30 days worth of beer money
The hero nine is impressive because it has a 180 degree camera on it. Its software keeps the horizon level making the videos stable. Its great on the ocean.
Its a glitchy camera though. It freezes, and corrupts files. Having more than one going has saved the day. I’ve learned how to prevent it but it still happens.
I have three Hero nines, each cost about 25 days worth of beer money.
I started with one hero7 and one Hero8, now I have two Hero7 and three Hero8 GoPros. They are both amazing cameras. The Hero7s each costs 10 days worth of beer money. and the hero8 cost about 15 days worth of beer money.
I recently bought a DJI OSMO action cam. Its got a big sensor making it a much better camera than the GoPros. Its inexpensive too. 10 days worth of beer money. I recommend this camera over GoPros
Thats 135 days worth of beer money on 11 action cameras. The drones each costs about 75 days worth of beer money.
My Canon with the lenses was my most expensive camera investment about 200 days worth of beer money.
Thats about 550 days worth of beer money for a potential new career. Plus it fills my huge void of drinking time. It been 540 days since my final relapse, so I’m pretty close. When I’m home on my computer editing I always have TS going in the background which is cool!
My little alcohol free sanctuary. I still have a lot of work to do on this place. I just need a little time off when its not raining. That will happen soon.
I walked to the store earlier and carried some groceries home. Its only a couple of blocks. It went well. I fell asleep and woke up in pain. I’m pretty nervous about tomorrow.
Had the hot/cold sweats like I was drinking. It weirded me out. You all made me feel better! Thank-you! It was fun figuring out if my camera spending was on par with my alcohol savings!

No I haven’t been. If I hadn’t woke up feeling better this morning I would have. Its not broken. severely bruised. My leg is coloring up. I hit pretty hard. I wasn’t expecting it and couldn’t brace myself. My back has some nasty bruises too

Ouch, man. Icing it? I’m a chronic klutz and have had a few nasty falls but that just sounds awful. Alcohol and I didn’t mix well when it came to that, for sure. It’s gonna ache for a long time I bet, but moving your body might actually help. Take care of yourself. Send us some bruise pics,

I have been icing it. I think that’s what triggered my hot cold sweats. I ate some ibuprofen and I’m feeling a lot better. Worst case scenario is tweeky and skipper have to work harder tomorrow to carry me. Tweaky owes.
Tweakys been doing better. Hes a likable guy, hard to stay mad at.

That makes it tough…the likable addicts are harder to deal with, IMO. You can’t just write them off. I’ve had too many addict friends. LOL! And, well, people have stayed friends with me through my addictions, so there’s that.
Cold sweats could just be your body healing, too. Real glad you’re feeling better.

I try to help him. I tell him things like nothing changes if nothing changes. I told him its hard to watch someone so talented waste away. I think that hit him. He been doing a lot better.

I survived today. It wasn’t to bad. My crabbing injuries have mostly healed Now it feels like I have new ones. I feel pretty lucky though. It was a hard fall.
We caught 378 pounds of crab Less than a crab per pot average. Belly up! They are worth a fortune though so I’m still making money. I cant complain.
Were going to get the boat ready for a three day salmon trip. Salmon are worth more than crab right now so it could be good. Fishing is always a gamble. You never know until you go. were hearing good reports from sport fishing, the odds are in our favor
Im feeling grateful!
My drone didnt make it yesterday, but its here now. Im going to go get it now! get it charging so I can fly it bright and early tomorrow.
