Day 4 done!
Day 4 Finally done after a full day of stuff and things
Checking in to say I’m all up to date on the planks & zero squats!
Day 5
It was leg day at bag class yesterday morning. 60 minutes of 2 & 3 minute rounds, 15/30 seconds of combatives against the bag with 15/30 second intervals of leg & core exercises.
Lunges, deep lunge pulses, squats, deep squat pulses with front kicks, round kicks, figure 8 moguls, toe taps, constant body shots loading with the legs, face-up superman hold with knee to elbow cross taps, push-ups to supermans, and a handful of other leg- and core-focused exercises… I love it. Good stuff.
That is impressive! I found that the heavy bag training that I did for a while was a remarkably fast and effective full body workout, but it can be injury-inducing if it is not done correctly.
Thankfully the instructors at the gym I go to are professionals. Even so, there is a certain level of risk involved that everyone accepts responsibility for when it comes to self-defense and combat sports. When you walk in through that door, you’re accepting that there’s a 50/50 chance you’re gonna get bruised up, banged up, and sore. It’s a lifestyle choice.
Day 5 done
Day 5 . The low plank is definitely more work for me than the high plank. I’m still mixing them in.

Welp. I have only done day one here so it’s safe to say I’m out. Now just isn’t the time for me. I’ll check back next month.
I basically split up the days I missed over today and tomorrow. Held up but definitely gonna feel it. Yaaaay I can feel things:purple_heart:

Day 6
22 + 6 + 6 squats
45 sec upper and lower planks
(I realize it was rest day for planks but I needed the planks in-between the squats )
So weird to me. It’s been too long. I was very active back in the day and obviously lost my motivation to demons but I’m here killing them and freeing me🤩
