Wolfmother is such a good band, I remember the first time I heard them back in the early 2000s, they sound straight out of the 70s

I agree, Florence Welch is one of the most amazing female vocalists today (solid line descended from Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins and Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance)
My vote for most amazing male vocalist today is Myles Kennedy. His work with Alter Bridge is amazing, and I love his long running collaboration with Slash - when he sings GânâR songs he takes them to a whole new level!

Definitely the theme thats a good idea @RetainKing @marcusmaximus2000 your favorite vocalists here is my favorite male vocalist who I personally think was one of the best singers on Earth, Roy Khan from Norway the ex singer of Kamelot an operatic trained singer the range of this dudes voice is unreal
For female vocalists hands down Simone Simons of Epica, an operatic soprano who has figured out how to stand out and not sound like a stereotypical soprano singer in metal music, very unique poppy voice with unbelievable range control. On a side note sheâs probably the most gorgeous woman Iâve seen my entire life so she has that as well

Appreciate both recommendations, and have to agree on Simone Simons of Epica. The song is amazing and she definitely has talent! Then I googled her and youâre right she is truly gorgeous. To quote Richard Thompson,

I have tix to see DCD in Boston. Was supposed to be a year ago, but Covid⌠It has been postponed several times now, but the current reschedule is for Oct 15. Fingers crossed this date will stick and Iâll finally get to see them!

They are amazing man, enjoy that one, that will be something magical to get to see live, they put on a good show, hopefully the atmosphere plays out for that one
