Any aussies in the house?

Not a bad idea staying away from the news lately…!
GC has been relatively lucky, friends in Brisbane have been put on alert to evacuate tonight :confused:
Hows everything on your side of the country?

100% my emotions have been up and down and I can do anything but tune out from the news some days :unamused:
Wow thats no good for Brissie, we are the opposite, hotter summer on record and haven’t had rain for who knows how long :hot_face:

Oh then please take our rain - pretty please with cream and a cherry on top :laughing::joy: I’m sick of hearing myself whinge about it haha
Great to see you pop in lovely :hibiscus:

I know, if only we could share it around hey :star_struck:
I try to jump on and at least read every few days and throw a comment in here and there if the post isn’t too long ago :woman_facepalming:

Mercifully the rain where I am has stopped, but I can still see some in the distance falling heavily. The BOM radar indicates that should be the last bit for a while.
I notice that the Gold Coast is now being hammered again after getting a break yesterday.
Stay safe. Stay dry. @Becsta and any other GCers

Hi welcome @EisEDev :wave::wave:

@emc2018 do you think the road along the spit would be flooded :thinking: I need to get me and the kids out of the house (ok, well get them off their electronics and me out of the house:sweat_smile:). Think we’ll check out the beach this arvo

Hi guys. Hope you are all safe in this rain. And :pray: for Lismore. Not too much rain here today, I’m in Lake Macquarie. :crossed_fingers:this rain stops and we can start helping people with clean up. In the meantime day 1 again but so far so good. Wish me luck. If anyone is on day 1 and would like to be an accountability buddy let me know.

Hey Rikki :slightly_smiling_face: maybe there is someone on the daily check in thread at day 1 who can team up with you? Great to see you back giving it another go. The daily check in can be great for keeping accountability also :ok_hand:
