I adore your pups :heart::heart: also fantastic book list. I’ve read most and they are keepers. I’m onto my next don Miguel ruiz- the fifth agreement. The fourth was a keeper too. One of those books that was so good you want to pass it on to others :hugs:

Hi April, @apes2020 I love to read. All these books are fantastic. You will enjoy The Fifth Agreement, a great read. The problem I’m having nowadays is finding enough time. If I could just figure out how to squeeze 30 hours into 24 it would help. lol :joy: The pups are a friend of mine and he brings them by quite often to babysit me. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Always look forward to them coming over. No matter what’s going on in my day it always places me in a great frame of mind when they’re around.
Have a beautiful day in recovery my friend and thank you for reaching out.

Currently I’m reading:

A Better Man by Louise Penny (I just LOVE the Gamache novels)

and

Women Talking by Miriam Toewes

But this week I will also be starting Indian Horse by Richard Wagamese. (My daughter is reading for school and I promised to read with her to help her stay on top of reading)

This is really interesting. The ‘flatness’ referred to in the title relates to a one dimensionally way of thinking, the trappings of ideology. The process of 'unflattening’is a broadening of ones perspectives and the importance of critical thought.

It’s really well illustrated.

I am curious if someone has read this book or anything like that. Opinions are very welcome.

I just finished American Dirt. I wasn’t sure if I would read this one because of the controversy associated with it but I did enjoy it.

13 things mentally strong people don’t do. By Amy Morin

Maybe like with everything. It’s always there but takes time to sink in. I can understand things better now.

I read Daring Greatly and loved it! … but that was oh man, 7 or 8 years ago? Where does the time go! So many nonfiction books I wish I had held on to. Thats what I am going to do from no on, just have a life-long nonfiction collection of gems.
