To be honest , so am I.
I think they must have had previous visits to other humans balconys, because they are so calm and gentle with me and behave like have been around humans before…
But today , the one that has really taken to Me and is super friendly, it came back twice today and kept walking up and down my arm and sitting on my shoulder listening to me talk to it 
But, the almonds definetly have a play in there trusting me

They just turned up about 3 weeks ago without me giving them food . It was just one, then the next few days 6 turned up, then it increased to 14 over a few weeks
They normally hang out across the road at the lake, but I have an olive tree in my garden and last month they started to eat it and a berry tree next to it… They never came up to my window but for some reason they came to me without me initially calling them…
I seem to have an uncanny connection with birds … Its never happened before…but this is the 2nd time ive had friendships with a wild bird/s with them choosing me

So I couldn’t keep the almond cafe closed this morning because they were waiting for me and there little faces staring in my window in anticipated excitement was too much for me too ignore so I opened up for an hour
My BFF who is the one walking up my arm was In the group again this morning… I searched its and body markings to see If I could find something that would allow me to spot him/her in the group… It has two tiny yellow feather dots on its neck … But I’ve learnt that it will now make its self known to me the moment it lands because it comes running right up to the front of the window and climbs right up my arm and sits on my shoulder 
were bff’s now
So I tried an experiment this morning… I put on classical music and played it loud enough so they could hear it… I wanted to see how they would react to it … They all stopped and listened intently, a few walked up to through the top of the window and sat there all content staring at the speaker that I turned to face them… They loved it !!! I’ve a feeling that because they are wild cockatoos , this may have been the first time they have heard music!?!

That one running up your arm is melting my heart. I feel like I have a bff too when reading about him/her. 
I like how you’re so patient introducing them to new things. Music was a cool idea. I’ll crack up if they all start dancing one of these days.

Maybe they thought that was the prelude to you breaking out in song. That’s how it works in the shows right? The Disney Princess starts to sing and the birds fly around her in adorable gestures?
