I can relate tbh, sometimes being online here is literally the best possible thing for me! Other times it can hijack my time and productive plans… Life’s not all electronics in the end 
I’m ok, bit brain-foggy lately… I’m learning that sobriety is an all in thing which encompasses my whole lifestyle in the end, and the new voids NEED proactive replacements to really progress… Not easy but I now know it’s possible. 
Haha really?! Meant to be I suppose, pretty cool coinkyduda there that means exactly 3 months tomo…

Very much so the new voids definitely need proactive sheduled replacements, other wise it can be a slippery slope… Ive found that if I shedule my days from the moment I wake up till the moment I go to bed, I tend to really not feel the voids, but there are moments where I do and I guess at the end of the day, its life, I’m going to have empty voids… As long as I dont replace them with meth, all is well

I havnt updated in a bit… The crew is still visiting everyday, but I cut out the almonds every day because it was just SO expensive and they were getting pretty rowdy with turning up in the dozens and they started to fight each other trying to steal the almonds from each
it was mayhem…
So I tried red apples and they LOVED them. And they are much more affordable.
I still give them an occasional once a week bit of bread as a treat.
Oh I also trained them how to drink water from a bottle that I hold for them… They REALLY enjoy the fresh water… Some afternoons I will just give them fresh water and they know to come by for it now and they know what I’m doing at the tap, they watch me from on the window and sing out to me in excitement about it. Its very cute 
I still get daily visits from the bff Mr floofy. Its super comfortable with me now and has really bonded with me. It even brings it mate with it and they sit there hanging out with me while they groom each other , they do it so close to me its so adorable watching how much they truly love each other they love being next to me and they do there little jumping /hop dancing up an down the window playing with me. Adorable.
I can also tell which ones are male and female by the tone of there eyes. The female is a light amber copper brown and the males eyes are super dark brown. Also the females are smaller in size generally.

So the visits are less frequent lately and not as many turn up. I’m not sure if cockatoos migrate or not. I dont think they do.
Maybe they are visiting less because they have found another almond cafe that they prefer

I wonder if they do migrate? It can’t be that they have found a better cafe to hang at. That’s just not possible. I am still amazed by this, April. Wild cockatoos. You definitely have a fan club. Do they tip well?

I’m thinking its the weather that’s kept them away. Its super windy and cold and rainy the past few weeks. Its so windy they kept getting blown off the window
Its so funny when the wind picks up , you seem them drop low and claw them self’s tight to the window trying not to get blown off whist not loosing the food there eating at the same time
I wish I could post videos. My phone dosnt have enough memory to take videos… But I should try and work out how I can post videos… Then you can really see how much character and personality they truly have

So I was deleting photos in my phone when I had a second look at this photo… I think its one of my favorite photos I’ve taken… It just looks so angelic and poetic even

Some black & white bird has dropped by curiously a few times now, tried unsuccessfully feeding it bread and bits are still out there untouched by anything at all…
