They ran right up to me a hopped on my arm all excited to see me

They only stayed ten mintues. I think they realized they weren’t getting any almonds today and took off to fly to find there next victim

Its just the one that run up to me and runs up my arm… Its the baby of the group. Every time I try to hold my phone up to snap a pic or video , it runs off n back onto the window :joy:

If I move my body while its still sitting on my arm it gets a fright and runs off back to the window.

I’m trying to train it to not wobble on my arm , its still learning how to do step up confidently.

Bless its cotton socks lol :joy: its so sweet and cute

This isnt the cockatoos, but there Is a family of pigeons that live out side in my garden and I don’t think they get any water coz they look soooooo dehydrated…

Soooo I’m doing an experiment with that little tub of water I just filled up on the ledge… I’m testing it out to see if they will drink from it.

I sprinkled seseme seeds out there next to it to lure them near it to see if they will drink the water…

Soooooo much free time in lockdown to hang out at my window and bond with the filthy pigeons :joy::thinking::yum:

Mr floofy just came by on his own for a visit!

He came by all on his own and hung out with me for half an hour!

Lots of cute arm walk up and scratchy sessions!

It started to rain so it flew over to the tree for shelter

The last one is him in the tree across the road hiding from the rain in the distance :joy:

Its hard to tell some of them apart because they do all look similar.

Its easier to tell them apart from there personalities

See with mr floofy, the friendly baby of the group, I can tell straight away that its him because he runs right up onto the inner ledge of my window cill so that his back side of his body is inside my apartment and his tail can hang comfortably down.

And he instantly walks up onto my shoulder all lovingly and excited. The others dont do this.

He also doesn’t walk to the far edge of the outter window to eat like the others, he just sits there super comfortable letting me get up in his face talking to him while he eats :joy:

Its like I’ve got my own pet cockatoo at this point that comes and goes as it pleases, like a teenager when there always out doing god knows what :joy:
