Tonight there was an epic summer sunset that was Fluro hot pink. It was so beautiful.
When ever it’s a beautiful sunset, its like the cockatoos know of its beauty … they go crazy making insanely loud crys and they sing like there celebrating the sun…
Tonight at 9pm , this little floof stuck around all on his own and sung till his heart was content.
He danced onto of that light pole serenading the sunset whilst swinging his little head round and round like he was at a rock Concert 
head banging even 
Its so fun to watch.
Gosh I wish I knew what goes on in there little minds
They feel everything that we feel… happiness, joy, excitement, fear, confusion, silliness, love, care, and even concern… I’ve seen all these emotions come out in them daily and they never cease to amaze me with there beautiful little personalities

This movie scared me so much as a kid!!! In all truth, I am only now becoming less afraid of birds. I also got attacked by a goose as a wee lass, so there is that as well. Have also been pooped on several times in my life …which is gross, but good luck!

I was going to say, “I think you missed your calling as an ornithologist”…but thinking about the ’ Have you ever made a big life change’ thread, perhaps it is in your future! And then I thought about how much research and information you are sharing on the various birds, so perhaps you are on your way already. 
I really appreciate this thread and your connection with the floofs and the joy it brings you and spreads to me and us. It is calming to wake up to.

I do still have many years left to experience something else in life. I think I could definitely see myself doing something that involves birds.
I have no idea what, but it’s something to investigate for sure

I had to look up the spelling, I was thinking the ‘n’ came before the ‘i’, so we both learned something!
I think it would be a cool area to look into. Maybe join a birding group??? Birders are very enthusiastic!
Oh, this reminds me of that movie about a birding group or some such I saw years ago…I looked it up…
The Big Year
I remember I liked it. Apparently it was based on a book of the same name. Reading the movie synopsis, sounds like it might be a good one to watch again!!

Afternoon snacky snacks 
When he arrives on his own I play him classical music and he just absolutely loves it. His little face feathers all floof up and he gets as comfortable as he can and just sits there listening… the way they notice things is remarkable

Today is an exciting day but also a devastating and sad day…
Today I got a new apartment approved. My lease begins on the 2nd of February.
I have officially only two weeks left with the floofs…
Two weeks 
I’m super excited about the move and the new apartment. But I’m devastated that I will no longer see my floofs everyday.
I am moving to a riverside property. Amongst alot of nature. So I’m sure with my bird whispering skills it will be no time until I’ve bonded with some new local floofs
To new beginnings… 
I will make the next two weeks with the floofs count

That’s exciting news. Congratulations on your new place! I know leaving a trail for the floofs is too much but I’m sure you’ll have new ones in no time.

Oh April, that’s wonderful news!
I believe it’s quite competitive in the rental market nowadays? You’re lucky! You had your set on that one!
Will it be a bigger apartment? Do you have a little courtyard or balcony where you can entice the local bird life.
Maybe you could get a budgie or two- they don’t need much attention and are not VERY noisy (not like a cockatoo)!
I kinda expected this news, so l wasn’t as sad. But l’m sad for you and Mr Floof. He will never forget you and your kindness.
On a funny note, imagine when the poor new tenant moves in and unknowingly opens the window-next thing they know, there will be six Floofs sitting there waiting for almonds!

Oh wow!! Congratulations on your new place, looking forward to seeing the pics. The floofs will definitely miss you, and you them, but time to share the love with some new floofs!! Happy for you!!

Congrats on the new place. Maybe the floofs will come to you. You’ll be moving and this flock of floofs will be flying over your car.
