Friends, I think the next chapter of the floofs may be on the horizon

This time its not a flying floof. It’s a little fat and cute floof… a possum!!

I just got home, it’s 9.30pm and right out side my door is a big tree. Literally arms length distance from my door… I came home to find a cute fat little possum sitting outside my door in the tree!

Stay tuned

Its dark out and i didn’t want to scare the fat floof with a flash, so the photos aren’t clear , but you can see how in the distance

My next door neighbour was out side when it was there and she was in shock because she has been here for two and a half years and she has never seen a possum! I move in and a week later, a possum turns up lol!

What Is it with animals randomly finding there way to my homes and me lol

I am thinking of naming him Jack. As male possums are actually called jack- fun fact :joy:

But I’m open to name suggestions

Quite a few at a nearby park

@apes2020 THIS is why they gravitate to you! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

"What does it mean if animals are attracted to you?

If animals are attracted to you, it is an honor. They are recognizing your energy and letting you know they think you are trustworthy. If an animal is attracted to you, it may be because they recognize your psychic energy.Nov 2, 2019"

" Can animals sense love?

Neuroscience tells us that many animals possess the physiological attributes needed to enable them to experience love, if defined as ‘feelings of strong affection for a particular individual’."

A few years back a room mate I had had an outdoor cat, his choice he never wanted to come inside, so we used to put food out for him on the deck

A week later, you hear this crash and such go turn the light on, and it’s a possum, coming to enjoy some cat food as well.

We named the possum Ralph, after wreck it Ralph, only to find out the following spring it was a “Ralphette” as its kits where chilling under the deck

Hi April, l missed your move too!🥲 But happy it seems to be going well with the screeching cockatoo and possum in the tree!! You really are a Disney princess!( Have you seen Enhanted with Amy Adams and ‘Dr Dreamy’?) lts a must see for you!

I haven’t actually seen a possum near our house for a while, but l know they are there as they make horrible growling noises at night. I’ve seen their little shadows on the powerlines at night occasionally. Yours is soo close! Don’t leave your windows open!!:scream:

@apes2020 Do you know that possums “play dead”? Like really dead for many hours sometimes. Just wanted you to know in case you did not.

Hi @apes2020 and the rest of ‘the Cockatoo Crew’
Thought it was time someone posted some ‘Floofs!’
It was a glorious sunny and warm autumn day in Melbourne yesterday (as some of you Aussies may know :+1:)
It seemed like all the Floofs were out and about, as well as all the Peeps!

I snapped 2 gorgeous baby Magpie Floofs having a drink in someone’s Floof Bath. Their parents stayed up in the trees to keep watch.
