Let’s not get too worried yet, maybe Baby is just out exploring and will be back in a few days. Keep up the whistling here and there so Baby knows you’re home.

Great news- I found baby! I went down stairs and had a good look and out of no where I see a little waddling baby Running towards me !! It was the sweetest thing to watch. It didn’t fly to me, it ran across the pavement so fast as soon as it seen me. I brought some food down and we sat down together for about 20 mins and chatted It was so dirty , it had cobwebs all over its feet must of been playing with spiders I didn’t take it back up stairs with me, ive left my window open so it knows I’m home now so if it wants to come back in and hang out , it can… I just have such a huge sense of relief knowing its alive and well… I wish I could of videod the moment it ran too me, it was like a puppy when it sees its owner and gets all excited. My heart melted

So I went back down stairs again to the front door to meet the thai food delivery man, and at my front entrance was baby, sitting in the same spot we were sitting at earlier. It was waiting there for me I had my phone on me this time to take pics…

What kind of bird is it? We mostly have sparrows, robins, blue jays, and red cardinals here in Ohio…sparrows usually being most common

Gotcha, came in kinda late so just kinda skimmed. I like the way they look. Had a parakeet who was really cool when i was younger, we never clipped his wings so he would fly over and land on your shoulder. He would eat right off your plate if you let him lol. The sparrows here i think are a little ugly lol

no sight of baby since the other day. Its been a week now and it hasnt come to my window. Ive left the window open the entire time. It knows I’m home because it spent time with me down stairs the other day, so I’m not sure why it hasn’t come back Inside. It hasnt even come to the outside widow ledge or even the fence.
