Well, I have my ups and downs. I’m working on it, did have a slip. But I’m also so focused on my eating cause that always gets out of hand when I stop drinking. But so far I’m doing alright in both, I had a few moments of cravings, but since it’s so warm right now, I think my appetite is less too! I won’t stop till I get where I want to be over a longer period of time! (My max is 7 months of booze so far, that’s my next goal, pass those 7 months - but during those 7 months my eating was an effin mess!) No more alcohol, no more binges, no more smoking cigarettes, no more self-harm. I have a big plate to empty! I’ll kick off my day by going for a walk, before it gets too hot! :muscle:t2::blush:

Y’all. I’m. So. Tired. I know I need to go for a walk but I’m exhausted, and it’s already 90° outside. I know when I exercise I feel better and eat better. But I didn’t sleep well last night - woke up at least 5 times. I haven’t eaten yet today. I’m off work. So thankful for that! I took Friday off too. Just checking in because I know when I’m in this mental space I can binge and turn to food for comfort.

Hi Crystal! How did the day go so far? It’s really warm here too, specially because of the humidity, which is round 75% today. Drives me nuts! I managed to go outside for my morning walk, and this afternoon I went to the gym, but I’m putting on a washing machine daily! :face_with_peeking_eye::joy:

I had a good breakfast. Just finished lunch with a friend and I got a grilled chicken salad. It was healthy and filling. So tasty!! Now I need to make it to the night without making bad choices.

Snacking on a Granola bar and some crackers. That salad wasn’t filling for very long and about 2 more hours until dinner. I plan to have more protein filled snacks in the future. I just need to get to the grocery store.

For protein, I strongly recommend protein shakes called Premier Protein. They are absolutely delicious, low in fat and carbs and have 30g of protein. Strawberries and Cream is my favorite flavor. I buy them on Amazon.

I have 3 unopened packages of high quality protein shakes in my pantry. I just need to make that choice instead of my unhealthy ones. But I will remember your suggestion for when those are gone. I no longer participate in the “program” where I got those powders. Not because they’re bad. Just expensive!

I never had the powders because of the cost. Eating/drinking healthy is pretty expensive, which sucks :pensive:

True. But I’m discovering the cost of eating poorly is high too. Just not cash :dollar: wise. That I can’t hike like I want to because of the weight I’ve gained, can’t wear most of the clothes in my closet and miserable in my own skin is a cost I no longer want to pay. So as with alcohol, I have to be willing to do whatever it takes. If that means I don’t eat out and don’t get my nails done so I can buy better groceries, I have to be willing.

Had dinner at 8:15 so I am done for the night. I need to change my nighttime routine to remove my phone. So I may not check in again until morning once I go to bed. I need to do some reading. And then just be an adult and go to bed.
