Somehow have to figure out how to raise my “good cholesterol” I’ll be googling which one that is. I remember one is H and one is L but i dont remember which is which.
Hdl is “good cholesterol” and Ldl is “bad cholesterol.” To raise the good cholesterol, you can eat things like fish, beans, nuts, seeds, avocados, and olive oil. A Mediterranean diet is best for cholesterol issues, but please talk to your doctor about trying any diet, especially if you have an eating disorder. As for liver function foods, unfortunately I am not familiar with specific foods that help the liver, that you’ll have to talk to your doctor about.
I have to make an appointment with a nutritionist.
I am sorta overwhelmed with all the doctors visits…
I have more doctor appointments coming up than I’ve had in the past 5 years.
But i will take it one day and one doctor at a time. And try not to freak out. The nutritionist is supposed to give me a personalized diet. That i am nervous about. I don’t know if i can do the 3 meals a day plus two snacks that i always hear “I’m supposed to eat” might make the psychiatrist appointment more about my eating issues than anything else… Guess it’ll give me something to talk about to pass the time.
All i can do is my best. I should get that tattooed somewhere as much as i tell myself that
I’m glad you’re going to be seeing a nutritionist. I hope it goes well. You got this. When you see them you can mention your blood test results and they should also be able to help you with that. And yes, I totally agree about the one day/doctor at a time thing. It makes it so much more manageable.
