Needless to say I could never do it without you guys!!! Ive found you when my drinking was out of control, when I was at my lowest… when (even though im not religious) I started praying to God to help me…
And that saying… I dont know much about angels but Im becoming increasingly suspicious that Jasmine is one of them… thank you @JazzyS

My big day was 10 months. From the age of ten, I went sober 9 months one time. So i get it, your 112 day milestone. I love that for you!

Age of 10?! Omg

That was the legal drinking age in my house - double digits. We got champagne or watered down wine at each birthday and holiday. And with 5 brothers, not a month went by without some drinking event. I started drinking on my own and smoking pot my first year of high school, age 14. I experimented with cigarettes at age 8 (on a dare from my oldest brother, we smoked on the train going into London for school until a police detective got in the same car as us and gave us a good talking to and a look at his police baton), then started smoking in earnest around the same time, 14-15. I drank for 35 years, smoked for 3 more after I got sober.

But my first real addiction was sugar. I usually avoided doing chores at home until I figured out I could get a raise in my weekly allowance at about age 5 or 6. I used it to buy candy that I pretty much inhaled - I ate candy like I drank.

I know you will be fine xxx and since Im so very experienced (in comparison to some LOL :kissing_heart: ) I can tell you it really is getting easier in time… to the point that you start thinking to yourself that you cant be bothered to drink again, that you are so perfectly ok without it.

It is totally doable, we both know that. You will have great time celebrating tomorrow, if not then just take your phone to a toilet and we can talk it through :grinning:

Plan ahead, @Sticky! When it comes to ordering this beverage, what will you ask for? A soda? Fizzy water? Fruit drink? Iced tea?.. Make it so you don’t have to decide on the spot!
Cheering you on.
