Morning of Day 17, still in bed with a mug of coffee, feeling so good and calm, and it is so quiet here, so nice. Day off from work and I want to stay home today… no rush, no people to talk to, no make up…

Have a lovely sober weekend :kissing_heart: Im visiting my daughter tomorrow, just for a day, she lives in uni accommodation in another city, I haven’t seen her for about a month and I miss her, I love spending time with her.

We are in it together now, Ive got the feeling its gonna be interesting journey. To start with I was scared… and I think I just needed to hold someones hand before I jumped off the cliff. So I grabbed (almost literally lol) yours and I didn’t let go… so you had to jump too :grinning:

It seems quite easy now to be sober, almost too easy to be true… but I we need to be vigilant Sticky… we will be tested… thats when we will really need to stick together.

Whats The Plan then?

That’s a fantastic plan!!!

Most def the relapse starts way before the actual drink so by keeping to a healthy lifestyle and plan and sticking with good support we can squash those thoughts before they have time to fester :pray:t4::people_hugging:

Thats so true Jasmine! It really does start much earlier than when you pick up a drink.

Yes… it is important to remember all those bad things… and be grateful that we got another chance before we f**ked up even more.

hundred percent need to keep that feeling in mind (as we tend to forget how bad it really was). So grateful that you are not in that space anymore. So lovely to hear that your family atmosphere is also improving with sobriety – really so many amazing benefits. :hugs:

Im just back home :slightly_smiling_face:The weather couldn’t be worse (strong wind/rain/cold) so apart from dinner outside and a bit of shoping we just stayed at hers, in her little room, under blanket, drinking tea, chatting… but you know what? It was perfect :slightly_smiling_face:
