Breath - 30 Day Yoga Journey (Yoga With Adriene)

Nice! I started the YWA February playlist this morning. Kind of intended to try something newā€¦ But I like her so am sticking with it :face_with_hand_over_mouth:šŸ¤·

How is your back, have you found anything in particular that is at the right level for you at the moment? Or do you just have to make your own modifications?

My back is much, much better! My neck is still really giving me some trouble. I have been doing back stretches and modifying is working out just fine. Slow and steady.

I almost always have her on mute. I know what you mean about the chipper chatter. But I find I do get something out of the movement and I like the themes even if I donā€™t listen to all the talking. Also love Benji. I have not been doing it every day but got up to day 11 in Breath, and itā€™s good. I like pigeon and all the hip stretching ones best. Iā€™m very stiff from desk sitting and those moves help a lot.

Yep, Iā€™ve appreciated the 30 day program overall and found it helpful to do the stretches and to relieve stress. The breath techniques were new to me and theyā€™re good for me. I also agree with you about the pigeon and hip stretching exercises (I need to do them because I run). I canā€™t mute her though or Iā€™ll never know what sheā€™s doing. Some days are better than othersā€” in fact, Iā€™ve mostly enjoyed the 30 day experience. I completed day 26 today. I think there have been one or two days that were particularly frustrating where she keeps telling us to focus on our breath but then proceeds to blabber on so that all I focus on his my desire to not hear her but overall itā€™s been beneficial. :grinning:

I somehow didnā€™t see this thread til now! I finished it yesterday and loved it. I did another one of her 30 day programs earlier in 2020, but this was the first time I got to do one each day as it rolled out. I missed a couple days but managed to get back on track by doubling up afterward. I tended to do the session in the morning after meditation or in the afternoon as the end of my exercise time/cool down. Overall a really great experience and it was nice to have a committment to yoga every day!

Day 30. It feels really really good to finish a challenge. And to catch up after being in and out.
I have not finished many challenges I put myself up to. What a sense of accomplishment when you do it!

Did day 21 yesterday and day 22 today.
Excited to see what the rest is like and to complete it all. Iā€™ve never done a 30 day challenge before. :grin:
I will 100% be continuing with yoga after this.

Up to day 25 today so almost done! :star_struck:

I saw Adriene has another 30 day challenge on her page so Iā€™m just going to go straight into that once Iā€™ve finished this. Really been enjoying it.

I enjoyed what I did of Home. And I have liked others, but I started that in December so itā€™s the one thatā€™s in my mind.

I donā€™t think thatā€™s even an excuseā€¦ Thatā€™s a huge thing to deal with. When we can make it every day thatā€™s great but sometimes it just doesnā€™t happen.

My doing daily yoga is the exception rather than the rule, and itā€™s mainly happening because Iā€™m not doing much of anything else.

As long as youā€™re enjoying the process and getting something from it, thatā€™s all that matters! All the stuff you built before will come back, plus some :muscle::sparkles:

I remember on one of the various 30 day things I was falling behind on, saying how I needed a break cos it was starting to stress me out. You were the person that told me thatā€™s not what itā€™s all about and that stuck with me and made me feel better about taking it at my own pace. So itā€™s nice to be able to return the favour :sparkling_heart:

No wonderā€¦ its titled ā€œbreathā€ ffs I took that as breath were doing yoga. :joy:

Oh well Iā€™ve finished day 28 of the OTHER 30 day challenge and I will start breath next :grin::star_struck:

Hello everyone :grin:

Just finished the 30 day challenge I was doing, now Iā€™m going to move on to breathā€¦ can I post here for that or move onto the February accountability thread?? Just with me starting breath day 1 tomorrow and most people are either finished or coming towards the end of breath on this thread.

Loved the last session I did today, I just had to put into practice what I had already learnt and do ā€œwhat feels goodā€. I was a bit daunted at first, thinking I wouldnā€™t be able to do it without guidance but I did it :grin: I have a good flow going now and itā€™s crazy how much stronger I am just after 30 days, It felt really good and I got a teeny bit emotional too which was weird. :confused::star_struck:

So 30 days done of the other challenge :eyes:ā€¦ now onto breath! And after that I want to start learning how to do head stands etc (and maybe the odd video here and there to mix it up abit) but will probably just put into practice what Iā€™ve already learnt and do my own thing. I should have enough knowledge by then :star_struck:
