Omg! Your story brought tears to my eyes. It’s nice to hear there’s still some decent people in this world. I needed to hear this.
I had a really bad experience where some lady that asked for help, just as a distraction, while she took our full cart of food at the supermarket. She left a horrible taste in my mouth.
Then I go to work and one of the guys was exposed to the virus and proceeded to come to the office and touch everything in site.
I’m really hating how horrible people have become at a time when we need to come together.

Just about through day seven, last week at this time I was out of control. I feel good, and have reaffirmed my commitment to not get that shitty again. Thanks to everyone here willing to share their stories, there is hope.

Today was one of the toughest since I’ve stopped drinking (officially started march 1) . I def binge ate to try to , well I really dont know. But I need to remember that… I didn’t not find the answer in any empty plate or bowl. Did not drink… making it to day 4. Hope everyone else had a much better sunday than I.

It’s my oldest son’s birthday today. Despite some ups and downs this morning, it was a really good day. I’m so grateful to have him in my life. I had already been 4 months pregnant when I found out and it wasn’t for a lack of looking into it, I just tested negative every time. I cannot imagine my life being any other way, I’m so grateful to be his mom and that he miraculously decided to come into this world.
Including his very first birthday, this will be 3 birthday’s with him where I’ve been sober. I couldn’t be more happy to be able to say that

hahah! you are certainly not!!! but without joking. it is amazing to see the people that need to keep the country afloot in these crazy times. nobody realy knows what to do or where this is going but people step up to the plate and make it work even in a messy way under a lot of dutch “gezeur”. amazing

Good morning everyone checking in on day 120 I got myself a sponsor yesterday so woken up feeling DID TJAT ACTUALLY HAPPEN AWJWSRD FIRST PHONE CALL ASKING AND SHOWING VUNRABILITY.EEERKKKKK got a few creases to iron out but I’m hoping all will work out especially now there’s no meetings.love and respect you all be safe look after one another love lilemm

Sorry you have to feel like this. This are difficult times. Maybe it will help you to think about the day after the drink: the shame, guilt, headache, etc. Playing the tape trough is helping me when I have cravings. Take care

Day 553 
My daughter has started to feel sick. She’s 18 but also have loads of allergies. So it’s hard to tell if it’s that, an ordinary cold/flue or Corona. I’m a bit worried it’s the virus, her lungs hurt 
Long day of work ahead. Have to count our shop profit and built up the new promotion. It’s strange that things like that still remain 
I said to my husband this morning: look our tree blossoming and the sun shining. You wouldn’t tell there is a pandemic going on.
I hope today my shop is less crowdy. I think it is because all Dutch people had an allert on their phone yesterday to keep their distance and stay in if sick. But today their is another crisis meeting and I expect more “rules” to come.
But…happy to be sober, happy to still have a job!
