- Itās freedom day here. Going to be a strange one as in the past this is a day of festivals and lots of social gatherings but today it is not. Going to celebrate my own personal freedom from addiction day today though. Sober and clean. Almost 11 months in and not planning on ever going back. Have a good day all! Clean and sober. That includes you @zzz. We cannot do this alone. We need help. Put your faith not just in yourself because alone it is too much. Believe in the group, a higher power, god, I donāt know, what works for you. We cannot do this alone friend. Love from Amsterdam. Iām happy Luna is watching me.

Youāre not a loser. Not at all. Youāre here and youāre trying. Everything is going to be okay. Please donāt lose faith. You can do this, I know you can, you just gotta know it too, for real. Believe in yourself and your worth man, because you are worthy of sobriety, of joy, of love, of all the good things! You are. Time to stop drinking/using and time to put that self-love first 
what can you do differently now?, what program or support can you seek out for help? What tools are in your sober tool kit? Clarify these things and the journey will get easier

Are you sick of Corona Beth? If so thatās nasty, hope you will feel better soon. Two co workers of mine were sick of it for 4 weeks! One of them is still only working half of the time because sheās to tired to do more. Hope you will only have some mild symptoms, take care of yourself

That voice in your head it sucks isnāt it @Flamestar. Glad you donāt listen to it, it lies. When you have mote sober days it will appear less I promise. Goed bezig!! 
@zzz glad you stick around, you are not a looser. But what you are doing now is not working, can you seek and accept help? Zoommeetings, rehab, addiction coach, online meetings, etc ? Itās not a fallure to accept help.
You have to do the work, but you donāt have to do it all aloneā¦

Day 596 
Yesterday we in the Netherlands remember our deads from the 2th world war. Normaly we go to the Dam in Amsterdam to listen to our king speeching and take our minute of silence. I show you a picure of how it looks like normaly:
If you are not able or want to go to Amsterdam you follow it on tv and thatās what I did yesterday. But look how it is because of Corona. No people to watch the ceremony, just an empty square with our king. Weird.
Today it is the day we celebrate our freedom instead of our deads and losts. Normaly there are festivals everywhere! Not today
But our flag is hanging proudly outside
Going for a walk and picnick with a friend who I havenāt been seeing for ages because of Corona. Looking forward to see her again and catch in with talking like girls can do
Donāt give in if you are feeling tempted to drink ore use. It will pass. Cravings come and go like waves and the more you āsurfā them the stronger you become. Say no to that voice in your head, itās always lying. And itās not a failure to accept help!

Checking in at day 36. Had a bad couple of days, felt really low and drowsy. Slept between 5pm and 9pm and then again from 3am to 1pm,like wtf. Iām trying to force myself to be more active but thereās a cloud above my head.
Iām monitoring my moods with an app (from great to very bad) and Iāve logged mostly goods and greats since mid April so I feel like it was the roller-coaster finally going down, but Iām not sure regular people should feel like theyāre being punished for being in a good mood?
Any advice appreciated Ahah

It was surreal right? and what did you think of the speech of Grunberg? there were some beautiful passes in there. still have to check whether this one is online. have a good liberation day for as we know now, freedom deprivation can sneak up on us on very many levels. also to the other duchies I know here, some of them known by aliasā¦ ;). @Flamestar @Fargesia_murielae @Mno
