Congratulations on 600 days!!
Sorry I’m late to the party Claudia.
You’ve been working so hard and I’m happy your boss sees it too. You deserve that bonus!!

Very nice. Beautiful gifts of nature
I WANT TO GO OUT TO DINNER!! I want to go to a nice restaurant and order a nice glass of sparkling water with lemon and be proud of myself while wifey orders a cocktail. I want to look at a menu and order a nice dinner and have someone bring it to me and clean it up after me. Restaurants in AZ open up Monday but I’m staying home and cooking and cleaning with wifey. I’m afraid to go out to eat. Rona (credit @Girlinterrupted it) is still on the rise the past three weeks here. I’ve been in so long it doesn’t seem to make sense to go out now if I don’t HAVE to. I wonder what normal will ever be again. Me sober isn’t normal. One day at a time. Thank God I am sober.
Hey all, just hit 91 days, used this app to keep track of time and money saved, never have posted.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to “reprogram” your brain to know it can have fun without beer? Thanks everyone
Nothing wrong with being a tourist in your own town! It means you like where you are. Keep walking. All good. And I’m very glad you are feeling good at the moment Beth. Hugs.
Welcome to the forum Scottie and congrats on 91 days. I’d say reprogramming our brains takes time. Time and doing fun stuff without drinking beer alongside those fun things.IMO drinking in itself isn’t any fun at all. Hanging out with friends is better without being drunk for me. Going to a concert or festival (whenever that’s possible again) too. Doing the stuff sober that you used to associate with drinking will automatically reprogram your brain. It does take time though. Keep going friend.
wow cheers @Beardy_McTallman I nearly missed this… love, respect and one big YOUR AWESOME heading your way… Merry Xmas
Woo hoo! Congrats on 2 weeks Paul. I’m doing a happy dance for you.
So flexible!!
That’s the soon to be torn down roof over our back patio. It’s horribly constructed
Oh, you don’t want what I have lol. But I’m getting there. I keep messing up. BUT if we add up all my time then I’m the bomb
I think you’re doing great. Important thing is that we never give up. Focus on what sobriety gives us and not on what we are “missing out on” because that part is a lie.
I’m taking your stickers away
you’ve just spoilt my good mood
It’s a great city! Make sure you go when it’s warm lol. My youngest was born there, but we moved when she was five months old, so I look forward to taking her for a visit. I don’t miss it much, haven’t been back since I moved My whole family moved to NC as well, so no real reason to go back
@Lisa07 Thank you sis!!
and YAY, I now join you in the terrible twos zone Tantrums are ok now, right?
Sorry, but you’re going to use them all up and then you won’t have any left to play with. Technically, I’m helping.
