That’s definitly an idea! I have resistance bands at home so it’s something too. But cardio is ehats missing so maybe ur right, maybe I can find an aerobics video to try how have u been? Hope u are doing great!
Better each day, thanks. I have the big ball to do sit ups and stuff at home, so when I watch tv I do them during commercials, lol.
I’m lucky to be able to still use my gym but doing that and planks at home helps. Midsection after a certain age,
Lol

You are both doing great.
You’ve been here before, so keep going 1 day at a time.
Day 113.42
Tuesdays are weird. For some reason it is the hardest day to get through every week for me.
Monday the week is new, Wednesday is hump day, Thursday is 1 day from Friday, Friday “nuff” said.
Tuesday has nothing going for it. I think I need weeks Sans Tuesday .
Walked for coffee this morning
Light breakfast before meetings started
Now in meetings for the remainder of the day
Everyone have a great and sober Tuesday!!!
@Hopeful777
Marie, giving you a shoutout. Hang in there!!!
I LOVE Eckhart Tolle, I need more of him in my life… I will watch, thanks!!
Dude you’re killing it. Congrats on 2 months bro
45.88 days alcohol free. Trudging along… TODAY is the DAY!! I start working out again… I totally fell off that wagon. I am a completely different person when I dont work out. So… wish me luck! Happy sober Tuesday! (Had to just look and see what day it is…) Stay strong everyone!
One other thing is that I am on a Kraftwerk kick since one of the founding members died.
RIP - Florian Schneider
I’ve been re-listening to the entire Kraftwerk library. Groundbreaking music in the late 70s and early 80s. Nothing like that existed at the time. It is amazing how many bands were influenced by them.
One of the most obvious examples of this is “Kraftwerk - Computer Love” and “Coldplay - Talk”. It is a 100% lift and drop (which Coldplay does not deny).
I did, but my daughter is in all of them. So I didn’t want to post those.
Thank you! And your right! I do have to get creative with my exercises lol. I’m so stuck in my ways at the gym, feeling like I can only use certain equipment to get certain results. Not true. Going to find out today when the gym in my building is opening up again too. Hopefully soon. Hope ur doing well have a fantastic day!
it’s those day 3s that make us stronger in the long run, I’ve literally been crying on my knees on so many of them then one day it’s like, OK it’s day 3 I’ve been here I know what’s coming so this is normal no surprises, I would plan my next quit date to make sure day 3 fell on a day off work or no other things I had to do. It would just be my grin and bare it day. wish you peace and strength bc basically how many more day 3s do you want to go through.
Wow! Thank you I really appreciate that!
I really needed to read that. Like really, how many of these day 3s do I want to keep going through. It’s no fun (as u know). Uv always been so supportive and I truly appreciate ur advice and insight. I do know what’s coming. This is definitly not my 1st rodeo lol so I shouldnt be surprised when my thinking starts to change around day 3. I’m hoping that by doing the things I plan on doing today, that it will help me to stay positive and focused on recovery. I wanna see 1 week of recovery
Wow, congrats! That’s amazing!
Check in 2 on day 2. I sat in on a Zoom Refuge Recovery. It was so different, but cool to be in a recovery meeting with people all over the US and Canada.
Today was a quite meditation and my mind was ALL over the place. I really moved away from mindfulness in a very short time. Glad to be back.
Ook jij bent niet alleen !!! Morgen weer een nieuwe dag met andere kansen en keuzes.
Great picture though
I forgot to add the phrase from the meeting that struck me most: “All that arises, passes.”
