Weā€™re living in Amsterdam. Canā€™t live here without bikes. (On the left is my lil boy, right our neighbor)

What a lovely picture, Menno!
Curious what restaurant is delivering the ingredients. Great idea to do that!!! Have fun!
And donā€™t worry if all the social stuff is too much, if you stay in the moment then youā€™ll be fine. You can just rely on what you can handle, I think. Enjoy!

@Lisa07 self pity no uhā€¦ Your worth more than that. You tried and drained. I think for once you need to listen to the signs,ā€¦ Youve been doing too much. Take a weekend off relax a little.

Oh, a cargo bike. I am constantly thinking about it. I have 4 bikes and this is an okay limit. Sadly, cargo isnā€™t really possible where I will move. I have never been to Amsterdam but must be a great place. Here, cycling is more like Darwin : survival of the fittest.

Checking in early on day 4. Feeling pretty good this morning. Not a lot to say, Iā€™m just happy to be back on the sober train and intend to stay that way. Have a super Saturday everyone.

There are some places I used to drink in that I go to, the family friendly/ food places. But there are others I just walk past, their only purpose is 1am benders and I am so pleased not to be a slave to that cycle anymore!

Being sober doesnā€™t make us perfect! But it does mean we have one less problem of our own making to deal with

I havenā€™t had Canada Dry in ages! The cranberry was my favorite! I may have to look into that again!! I rarely drink soda these days, but that sounds good!

Iā€™ve decided to start checking in daily again, because this year I will actually do the work consistently and not every so often

Day 119

If your having a moment of weakness please let me remind you that you could be me who has just had to pay for an apple pie that I threw and I called the security guard a fucktard welcome to the world of tourettes
Seriously donā€™t feel like a failure just keep trying
We all have those not so good days.

ONE WEEK! SEVEN DAYS! Seems small, but itā€™s a big deal to me. During the last three years, the longest Iā€™ve gone without alcohol is two weeks. So Iā€™m really looking forward to next weekend.

This week I have: said no to three alcohol offers, thrown out all of the alcohol in my house, and started doing things normally centered around drinking without the alcohol. Building new habits, letting myself feel things, praying a lot. Itā€™s going well right now. So grateful for all of you who support and encourage me every single day. I NEED YOU!

Congratulations on a full week! Thatā€™s no small feat @cwak. It was the hardest week of my sobriety. Keep up the hard work.
