@Figgie The important thing is you know you can do 90 days and those days aren’t lost, your body and mind healed and I’m sure you learned a lot. I’d bet you also learned that the drink(s) on thanksgiving weren’t worth it (correct me if I’m wrong) and hopefully that will help you make it long past 90 days this time :+1: Glad you’re still here and going strong! :slightly_smiling_face:

@cwak Congrats on 1 week! That’s huge!! I can honestly say that was the hardest week for me, keep up the hard work.

@Charlie_C Congrats on 2 weeks! Great work :+1:

Day 179 clean and sober today. Thought my transmission was starting to go on my car but went to O Reilly’s an auto parts store and they did a free diagnostic. Found out it was a bad part that cost $17. I’m going to attempt to replace it myself and I will be so happy if that fixes the problem because I do not have the money for a new transmission. Prayers for me to have the ability to do this please lol. Have a great day everyone, love you guys!!! :sunglasses::metal:t2:

Well done on 1 week! That’s a big accomplishment. Keep it going. :+1:t2:

Checking in sober. Getting ready to celebrate my youngest daughter’s birthday with family later. Then read a gazillion million pages all weekend long to prepare for a designation I’m going for. It’s hard, and it’s expensive, and I’m shitting my pants. I love to put huge challenges on myself, but… I don’t know time wise with this one. I will have to find the energy from somewhere :woman_shrugging: I’ll pull it off, I always do. Just sucks when you’re in it.

… And, brought to you by popular demand, more Chronicles of Batshit (definitely some theme music going on in my head as I typed that :joy:)

So… I didn’t see this email until after she called me and screamed at me for 20 minutes. Eric heard her yelling at me on the phone one day, he’s extremely loyal and a very sweet guy. So he pretty much keeps his distance. He’s polite, but she makes his skin crawl. So, 3 minutes after this email she called me and screamed for like 20 minutes. She sounded like a damn dolphin. My older daughter was in the car. At this point it’s just silly, so I had no emotion. But, it was very hard to keep our laughter silent. The shit she was saying was so off the wall. All because Eric didn’t say hi and he closes his office door.

Her “apology” shortly after:

I had office supplies delivered and asked her if she wanted the boxes as she was collecting them to move. I get this… Mind you, I work mostly in the industrial sector. Though I have some retail clients, they are large gym and restaurant franchises. Not that it even matters, because it’s not her fucking business and a simple “yes, thank you” would have sufficed.

The good news is that she is finally gone and the relief is fantastic. She was exhausting and I spent a lot of time and energy trying to stay off her crazy ass batshit radar. I hope she gets the help she needs. However, the complete lack of self awareness would make that difficult.

Checking in on a ratty Saturday morning. :scream: :rat: I guess all my neighbors will know I got a serious rat issue. Good thing most of my neighbors are not around. So I got this going on today.

You got to admit that little VW looks pretty cute.
I kinda wish they brought unmarked cars.

OMG thats nuts!! But makes sense with the restaurant’s at less capacity the rats all moved to your house apparently… must be because of all that amazing food youve been cooking !! Poor little rats.
