Oh man, Michelle, thatā€™s so unacceptable. Heā€™s going to have to do something; why does she think itā€™s ok to talk to an adult let alone anyone like that? No presents until you get an apology and a discussion of how to behave moving forward.

Tough stuff. But youā€™re tougher! Just because we are highly emotional humans doesnā€™t mean we canā€™t deal with these challenges sober, and youā€™re proving that to yourself. Iā€™m proud of you! Hang in there and keep that communication going.

Sorry guys! I was weak again, Iā€™d drank for 2 days. So much going on. People who are close to me are dying or suffer from a devastating cancer with small children involved. I know it was so much better to going thru this sober. And feel pretty bad about it. I put all of my loving energy in them to be there wholeheartedly, and when Iā€™m alone again grab the bottle. So still not able to cope with this. Feels like Iā€™m letting you down for some reason.

I do know I want to have a sober life and that is the best life for me and my loved ones. So will start soon again.

Wishing you a beautiful strong Christmas everyone! Hope you all are doing well!

Sorry for your pains and I know itā€™s easier said than done but try and be kind to yourself, drink never helps anything.

@Hidden Glad to see u!

@Claire For me I handle abstinence, not drinking at all, much better than moderation. Although there are sometimes cravings, if I donā€™t pick up the first drink, I can do it. Trying to control myself after a drink or two is virtually impossible.

@Briella Congratulations on (nearly) 30 days. Milestones are often a bit underwhelming, and ur husband sure isnā€™t helping. But u are doing great!

@RosaCanDo I am so impressed by ur sober muscles! Using an alcohol u used to drink to cook and then put it away is great!

@Squirt That sounds very difficult. How old is the stepdaughter? Sounds like u are both suffering. Whatever happens, alcohol will only make things worse.

@anon60334405 Being civil to an ex is a very admirable thing. And ur girls will benefit from it.

@Olivia lol

@Sanuk My friend also had cancer, and a moderately disabled kid. I drank, even visited her in the hospital drunk. But I sobered up to be there at the end sober, and helped with the funeral. Sober is betteršŸ’•.

@SoberGuyUSA Nearly at 888!

Had a great day. Said my prayers and did readings and gratitude. Got to visit my parents this morning, so awesome even though it was outside socially distanced. Went to visit and cook supper for the 15 in house clients, turned out great. Reading through hear and laying on the couch watching the NBA go raptors. God bless you all. :v:&:heart:

Day 88. After two very long days at work, I am now on winter break! I even managed to get myself to the grocery store on the way home tonight. Now Max and I can just chill out for a few days. Made Brussels sprouts and pancetta for dinner.

I hope everyone is doing well, and hopefully I can catch up on here over the next few days. Good night, yā€™all!

Just wanted to do a quick second check in. I went to my follow up appointment for my post operation stuff and they sent me to the ER. Something is wrong I have extreme pain coming from the are where they operated that travels down my back and the inside of my leg to my foot. Iā€™m sure Iā€™m going to be ok but asking for some extra good vibes and prayers if you donā€™t mind. Thank you so much, love you guys!
