Only day 4 cuz you worked your butt off the last three days. Every sober day’s a blessing. We will see you on day 5

Checking in today. Glad for sobriety while everyone’s tweeting “not enough wine!” to handle this day. Sobriety is my buddy, my pal. As long as sobriety’s got my back, I’m pretty much assured of doing the right thing. Today was a good day to be sober.

We all need a mental health day off from work. There’s nothing wrong with that Mike. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Also you are good dad. Today may have sucked but tomorrow’s a new day. And don’t be silly you are doing amazing with your sobriety! :muscle:t3:

40 Days! Today was a good day, and I had some insights I want to share, but not tonight because I’m tired and going to bed soon, haha.

What a day. Conflict at work. Country feels like it’s on the brink of civil war. Wife’s leaving town on business for several days tomorrow morning. Headache. But no alcohol. Because alcohol sucks. 46 days sober.

Day 191.
I had amazing things planned for today - at my desk, on my yoga mat, in general - and I definitely underwhelmed and underachieved in all of them! But I’m going to bed sober, and that’s what counts.
G’night, dear sober pals. Let’s do another day tomorrow. :orange_heart:

You just do what you got to do to take care of yourself. If that means just checking in here once in awhile then so be it. Enjoy your sobriety.

And ya what a day. Unfuckingbelieveable.

I’m here, I’m alive and I’m sober.
Day 130

Got out of my Pyamas today, because I had an early morning presentation. It wasn’t easy to get out of bed at 07.00 when you’ve been able to sleep in for almost 3 weeks of winter break. So I didn’t I snoozed until about 07.30 and then I had to hurry. Thank god for zoom and the fact that I didn’t had to catch the bus or something.

School starts for the kids at Monday, so I have to practice waking up early again. Already longing for next school break. This lack of sleep is taking a hard hit on us all.

Overheard tweenie talking to her Ma yesterday, saying that I hate her, and doesn’t want her here. So I think I’m about to give it up now anyway. She also said that she doesn’t need to change because no one tries to do anything for her, pr cares for her anyway. And no one can stand having her. Her mother (my husbands ex) later talked to my husband about not giving him custody and move tweenie to a another youth care facility where she lives in the south of Sweden.
My 18 y/ o and her boyfriend are leaving to go to his place today and doesn’t want to come back until they’ve got a room where they can lock their things. They are currently sleeping in the tv room outside tweenies room. But tweenie has been stealing a lot of their stuff, denying it even when we’ve found it, or destroyed it just to put it in the trash.
So at this point I’m feeling that I’ve got nothing left to try with, or any willpower left to care. It doesn’t matter what I do, because it won’t change.

And we’ve got more snow, it looks like powdered sugar on the ground. I was hoping that we won’t get any at all, but the boys loves it,even if it’s to little to play with.

From Today there’s also masks required if you’re traveling with public transportation here. Better late than never I guess. But I ain’t going anywhere out of town soon so it doesn’t really matter to me.

Wishing all of you a wonderful day.
