Checking in. Another cool number I reckon. Just happened to catch it this morning.
All this talk about spring and it’s snowing here. But that’s ok. The wife loves the snow. She’s from Houston she doesn’t know what it’s like to grow up in it 
@RosaCanDo good luck with the shot. I didn’t even feel it and I’m a pretty big baby when it comes to shots. Sore arm for 2 days no other issues.
I was just thinking of milestones and numbers and counting days. I remember one maybe two days in the early going I needed to make up a milestone, because I was struggling, like 139 or something, because I needed the boost from y’all. It worked. I couldn’t get where I am today without you all. Every day is a milestone for me.
Give yourself credit for the days you made it when you thought you couldn’t.

@RosaCanDo Success with the vaccination. Hoping for no side effects. About drinking in summer: after two sober summers I can honestly and with conviction say that staying sober feels so much better when it’s hot as compared to drinking alcohol. Thinking a cold beer or white wine is nice in the heat is a total illusion. I doesn’t quench thirst, it makes thirstier. Hence the increased amounts of drinking when it’s warm. Of course there’s a habit to break, but realizing and noticing actually getting refreshment from what I drink instead of only dulling my senses and making myself thirstier is the best! You’ll find out friend.

So today I made 800 days clean and it just so happen to land on my birthday. This is my 3rd year celebrating my birthday clean and for some reason it doesn’t have the excitement as the first 2 years. Maybe I’m just getting older well not maybe I’m definitely getting older lol and celebrating my birthday seems pointless. So today I’m just relaxing and going surfing maybe have breakfast with some friends and later hit up a meeting. Congratulations to everyone who is celebrating another day free

181 days no cocaine.
8 days no binge-eating.
Housing assessment this morning, at risk of homelessness, council have written a prevention plan, emergency accomodation would be a hostel with shared facilities and no pets. I’ve enquired if a cattery would be able to offer foster care, and they said £460 a month. The other flats I liked are all taken. I’ve found an affordable bungalow and enquired today, the agent wasn’t sure if the landlord accepts pets so needed to contact him, maybe I’ll hear back tomorrow. I’ve found another place that’s really nice but a lot more money, and I’d need a job to sustain the tenancy long-term. If I sign a tenancy I will be taken off the council housing register so wherever I sign for needs to be realistic. The closing date for the most recent job I applied for is tomorrow so hoping to hear if I’ve got an interview again
