So great to hear as you approach 9 days! I think I would turn all that distraction and busy-ness into a positive since your mind is preoccupiedâŠyea turn up the tunes and do what you love. Stay strong
I never really learned how to be comfortably social without drinking. no time like the present I guess
Surgery went well on my way home with my ñéw piece fashion wĂ©ar for the next 6 wĂ©eks at least⊠inside and oĂșt⊠A course I gĂ©t to keep the 14 pc. Of titanium that you canât see.

Congrats on 3 days! Keep that attitude and mind set of âshutting downâ those tempatationsâŠcause it does get easier
I realized the same thing how fast and amazing the body is at healing itself!! It only gets so much betterâŠsleep, clear head, being presentâŠand all that comes with a freedom that only you can enjoy and be proud of Stay strong and always focus on ODAAT!!
Checking in on a very rainy and cold Saturday morning!
Huge congratulations to everyone on their milestones there is so much activity on here while I am sleeping, its abit tricky to go back and tag each and everyone individually but I think youâre all amazing! And for every person here that hasnât, and wonât pick up today, youâre all just as super awesome too
Congratulations! Big accomplishment! I like how through your posts, what you are saying, and a lot of the quotes, you help break it down, for yourself and for the next person! Celebrate each day!
Ouch! You are looking pretty good, though! Heal well and completely! Hugs
You nailed it right here! You have it in you. Your here. Your posting. Your reading. Your growing. And you have that desire!!
One of the things we love to do is beat ourselves up. We all do it. Weâve all done it. Yet we know the results always brings us back to self pity, low esteem and a shattered self image. I can write volumes in how many times Iâve felt like this over the course of my drinking career. I believe itâs all part of the healing process though. Itâs driving through not only that toxic behaviorâŠbut that toxic mind set. That! My friendâŠis where the victory lies . We can go through the motions, go to meetings, post on here, communicate with our sponsor, read the Big Book, etcâŠbut if your mind is not in alignment with your physical being, then that battle becomes extremely tough. You can cause the physical urges to pass, and the temptations to eventually diminishâŠbut how? Why? Because your mental capacity and drive is the force that dictates to your body what it will choose and ultimately do. The decision is only a split second, but if you can train, strengthen and solidify your decision making then itâs ODAAT and a free, clean life ahead of you! Stay strong!!
I know right! Donât know whatâs going on lately but every time I check the time, the mileage on my car or even my phone battery percentage there is a number sequence
Thanks Drew.
Always Have. Your Drink. In Your Hand!!!
And you know to check in.
Remember what I just said above. DEFENSE!!
Thatâs a fantastic number and congrats!! Each day of sobriety is a giftâŠno matter what the number! Keep strong and fight that fight!!

I am checking in from the CA meeting with
No dope, no booze, learning how to live life on lifes terms. Learning how to deal with emotions without trying to escape my head and body. Learning how to seperate what is mine and what doesnât belong to me.
I have a bad habit of taking everybodyâs pain and it always feels unbearable. Through recovery though I am being taught how to seperate that and for that I am grateful.
Congrats everyone on your clean time.
I feel the exact same way âŠ51 days into this battle ⊠hats off to everyone going for this we can do this
