Here I am again on the daily check in tread.
Thank you for all your wishes on my 3 year milestone tread, it was so nice to celebrate and share it with you all.

Soon 45 days, made it longer then my longest stretch on 41 days last year. Going to make this day sober, Im never sober on this date, Im ready to stay strong for today.

This is keeping me sober right now. Rough day…only dinner left and then bedtime to make 3 weeks.

@anon53116147 While of course cliques may occur, anyone working to stay sober has a place here. And connection is an action imho, it is the act of checking in that is important. If u left, what would u do instead? What other link to other addicts would u have?

Day 405
Visited some friends with the kids. They are an older childless couple, but they like kids, and found my kids’ antics amusing. They have two kittens so my kids were v. excited. We had lunch together and they even suggested we eat dinner together too, but my introverted ass was all socialised out, plus they have school tomorrow. My kids, not the couple.

Here checking in, today it’s like 20 years since my mother passed and it isn’t such a biggie anymore but it just ads a brick on the day of walls I’m climbing atm. I’m making more out of less and feel lonely from time to time, but he… Who doesn’t I guess.
Sometimes it feels Al so pointless in the present thaughts I have, surely I can relate that kinda thinking to the time I was addicted and then I know that life can be so much worse but still… The progress is getting stuck but I’m doing all I can for the moment.
There will be more easy days ahead, but that’s up to me , so I will hold on to what steps I did make and carry on the fight. Step by step, breath by breath and round for round.
