Sorry for your loss. Sending good vibes your way and hope you feel better soon. Glad to hear you were able to be with your dad towards the end.
Sending love
Hey guys. Checking in day 46. Gonna watch umbrella academy episode 8 I think.
I already watched stranger things, which was exceptional and also the boys, I did not like some of the s3xual scenes. But overall was really good.
I also joined another community a month ago from which I am also getting help. Mostly people recovering from PMO are there.
I consider myself really lucky as I am part of not 1 but 2 great communties. I love you guys so much…
Have a very nice day. Peace.
Super happy to wake up to 30 days! App hasn’t given me the chip/ medal as my last drink was 10pm. Days roll over then. I have never been sober this many days and it feels crazy to know I have done 30 days straight. Happy to be sober today.
Hey Isela, CONGRATULATIONS, you did it!
@Mindymoo I am feeling fantastic. Life is definitely better this way.
@maxwell we’re doing it!!! I am right behind you for the 45 days.
Celebrate good time come on!!!
I’m going to try that with my neighbors cat; get her high and send her home!
Huge congrats on 30 days sober! Thats been the toughest milestone thus far for me. Keep doing what you are doing for your recovery! I wish you nothing but happiness and gratitude!
Day 10048
I’ve been feeling so ill the last few days. Coughing so hard I throw up. Endless coughing 24/7. I thought I had bronchitis. Been using my inhaler but only momentary relief. Hardly any sleep for two nights. My social security doesn’t drop until tomorrow so I’ve been toughing it out. Then about two hours ago it hit me. The coughing isn’t coming from my chest. It’s a constant tickle in my throat. I texted my son in law and yes, his allergy pills are upstairs. Took one an hour ago and haven’t coughed for 30 minutes. Omg the relief!
This morning I cleaned off the front porch and sidewalk and weeded the front flowerbeds. Trimmed the dead fronds off the palm tree. Was so weak and tired and coughing after that. I’m gonna take a nap and catch some missed ZzzzZzz.
Another day in paradise clean and sober
Got my 4 month sober chip at my meeting last night!
Day 5 checking in!
Love y’all!

@Lovelyoutlook A huge congratulations on 1 month!
Congratulations on 30 days! We’re practically twins!
Hi Colin, 60 DAYS!! I’ll bet I have a gif for that!
Hi Aura, 4 months is Amazing!
Hi @Twizzlers
I don’t think I’ve seen a check in from you in a couple days, (maybe only reply posts?) wanted to say hi to you and your cool pet gang. And your kitty visitor you feed. -
You always make sure everyone is okay, wanted to make sure you’re too.
I went uni in Liverpool and used to live in the halls at the bottom of penny lane. Love that city so much. Visited last year to see some friends.
Day 164
I already wrote and deleted about 3 check-ins by now. I’m so self-conscious. I can’t make mistakes. Or rather I can and do plenty but I’m not allowed to. I probably make more mistakes because of it if anything. Whenever someone has to explain anything to me at work I immediately go ‘yes, yes ofcourse, sure’ like I’m supposed to know already before it’s even explained. Subconsciously already telling myself I should’ve known. I want people to think good about me, so I try so hard. Yet whenever I get compliments I just say ‘yeah yeah’ and shrug it off. Before bed I felt a bit pointless. Just the 9-5 thing, there was nothing remotely special about today. And up for work in 6 hrs. But I think I can sleep better having written my thoughts down(and deleted 3x). Good night wonderful people
Bingo When we quit, it makes people think about their own relationship with alcohol. And that can be uncomfortable for lots of people.
Hi Arno! It’s okay to make mistakes, if you never did, you wouldn’t learn anything. Here, I re-read my posts several times, then post and have to go in and edit a couple more times.
Please try not to be so hard on yourself, we’re all imperfect people, that’s how God made us, and he doesn’t make mistakes. At work, it’s okay to let people explain and take notes or ask questions if you’re unsure or don’t understand something. I’ve trained a lot of people at the office and I like when people ask questions. If you think you forget things easily, take notes. I’m a big note person.
And CONGRATULATIONS ON 164 DAYS! That’s a huge accomplishment
