Checking in on day 413, late check in. Spent the entire morning in the ER. Tweaked my knee about a week ago and last two nights pain has kept me awake so decided to go at about 3 am thinking it wouldn’t be busy but man I was dead wrong. Over 60 people waiting. I had to wait in my car for four hours before even being called in due to lack of room. Endend up having a tear in my meniscus. Was put in an immobilizer and had to wait for over an hour just for them to find crutches. I got to the point where I said I’d drive to the store and just buy some and then magically some were found. Frustrating day but I’m alive and pain is dissipating with ice and cortisone so I have that to be thankful for. Hope everyone is staying safe and take care!
Congratulations to 3 sober weeks!
Congratulations to quadruple Digits! Really impressing!
Wow, 1000 day of soberness! Congratulations!
Hi Travis,
I know the fatigue symptoms very good.
Give your body enough time to rest.
There are a lot of processes going on when getting sober and the body needs time to heal. For me, short naps during the day are still very helpful. Congratulations to 19 days so far
I had a good nap after lunch today so yes i feel what you are saying on many levels.
Thank you, its been a good day in the long run
One week
It’s noon, I just had breakfast haha. This won’t be the most productive day. Going to do some laundry now and get some food.
On my way to the grocery store I’ll throw the empty alcohol bottles out that are still standing in my kitchen.
