Still problems with my hip. Phoned with a osteopath but it takes a while before she has time for me. We do not know what we like to see in Germany. I like the idea of just drive and see where it get’s us. But I’ve read about Bad Bentheim and I think we are going to visit that for a start.
I’m sorry about your hip.

Day 7
One Week!
It’s actually been long long time since I reached one week of non drinking. Usually it was about 3-4 days at most.
It’s been few months now, that I am back at my first Gym. It is very very special place. One of first and leading bodybuilding club in my country and all around at that time. My father and his brother trained here. Father was competitive bodybuilder. To my surprise the club is near my house, at my district. Since very young age I always walked around that club and was peeking through that basement windows. I was fascinated with this sport. There is something special about this place! It’s definitely has it’s own aura and energy. That raw and fundamental spirit of human strength. Pure and not broken as todays lustful, shallow and egocentric cult of the body is. For me this always been about that inner strength; that human spirit and raw energy. I love it. I am happy I am able to do this. When I was drinking I skipped a lot of training. Time to get back on track.
For 50 years, the club has been working non-stop in the same premises. The men cleaned out the cellar, brought the tools and started working. Finally, the authorities became interested in what was happening here, so in 1969 club “Olimpas” was registered. Soon Olimpas became one of the leading clubs in the entire Soviet Union. So many people played sports at Olymp that even now they come from the USA, from Israel, from other countries and remember us. And everyone’s advice is the same: just don’t change anything in the club - leave everything authentic. It was a cult club. More precisely, it’s not even a club, but a social phenomenon," says R. Kairaitis.

Day 243
My day didnt start out great lol I had a rough sleep due to have using dreams (didnt use in it but i was around my DOC). I woke up rushing to get to my alarm, smashing my elbow on the dresser and then tripping on something that was on the floor, almost falling into the wall lmao. All happened in about 15 sec Anyway… my day improved coming on here and reading so many more uplifting comments about my milestone. I went out with my boy to get some groceries. Had some nice interactions with others today. Then i got an email from Icing Smiles (an organization that pairs medical families to volunteer cake bakers so that the baker can provide a special birthday cake for the child who has s severe medical condition). I have been an Icing Smiles baker for about 3 or 4 years now. When my son was diagnosed, I understood the financial strain that can come with ALL the expenses of caring for a child with severe medical conditions. I wanted to use the gifts that God gave me, to give back. So when theres a child in my area that is having a birthday and needing something special, I bake a beautiful cake for them! I decided to bake a cake for a little girl who oddly enough, shares the same bday as myself. Very cool! Im super excitwed. They give me the color scheme and theme and i basically go to town lol Anyway, my day has improved. Im grateful for my recovery and will make sure to do recovery related things todayz along with some cleaning.
Hope everyone is having an addiction free day!
Thanks!!
