I didnt do a check in earlier (other than the loooong post i made lol). But im just blown away. I just feel so much love for you all. My recovery family. We are all such warriors. Every one of us. I learn soo much from you all! Bug hugs to every single one of you!
Today has been good. Kind of emotional for obvious reasons lol i started my day with a workout and then my Bible Zoom group. My son had an appt at 11 and then i baked cupcakes for my sons class for Valentines Day for tmrw.
Cleaned up the kitchen and waiting for hubby to get home from work now. Going to relax and enjoy the evening

Oh this is great to see! Very happy for you and love seeing your progress. Your recovery helps many many others. Like a quit where every thread is tied to the others, your life path helps hold us all together. I dont come on this thread often, but im glad i did tonight to see this. Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. Im well and have been making progress feeling more fulfilled, even geniune happiness like at baseline more. Shopping for a 4 year coin as ill hit the mark in a couple weeks and im just kinda overwhelmed, feeling emotional and grateful for the life i have now. I see the benefits of sobriety more and more engrained in my life, the old scars seeded with life now grow flowers and i really feel like im lucky or blessed. I wish you all the same.

First things first: Big yay to @Butterflymoonwoman !

You’re an inspiration to all of us! 
Today is the closet I’ve come to giving in so far this year. Went to a doctor appointment at 9:30. My Health Access card (kind of like health insurance, but not) expired yesterday, and they wouldn’t let me slide… so I have to reschedule which will be a few more months.
Got an email from IRS telling me my refund won’t be sent out until mid-February because I’m getting Earning Income Credit. No, I don’t know what that’s got to do with anything. I told my bank I’d pay off some stuff by the end of the month, and now that’s not going to happen.
Went for a long walk on the nature trail, but it didn’t clear my head like I expected it to.
Oh, and tomorrow is the day everyone reminds me that I’ll be single forever. 
Just feeling really overwhelmed. I’m gonna go to bed and hope for a better tomorrow. Have a good sober night/morning, fam!

Grateful for my blessings and recovery media and spiritual media guidance as we’ll.
Glad for sleeping pill when last night at awake at 2:15am, pls Owen no it’s not coffee time yet 
Motorcycle are fast but don’t need to be a speed freak as don’t ride faster than your gaurdian angel can fly
Work has variety as delivery driver to keep the body moving, doesn’t feel like a difficult chore ,yay!
My previous sober run 570 day alc free is more the norm than craving beer after my slip grateful for this. Esp as m/c and alc is a big no no.

Have the day to myself today. Planned to do some housechores and a walk. Also promissed myself some reading and finishing my Lego flower bouquet. Busy day with a lot of good things. Hope I enjoy it.
