Checking in daily to maintain focus #53

really trying to avoid greasy and fatty foods but it’s really hard because I have such a limited diet. I’m a super picky eater and have the diet of a child and all of that is junk food. I have been eating disorder that causes me to be terrified of trying new food so finding stuff that I can eat is near impossible right now. I’m hoping that they just remove the gallbladder altogether so I don’t have to worry about it in the future

Removing the gallbladder still can give issues with fatty foods afterwards. For me since then I still have to be carefull with what I eat. If I ate to many fat food on a day my stomache hurt. It’s absolutely better without the gallstone, but I am not totally “fixed”. A gallblatter has his function and when out it works different. So let them check you proparly so you get the right diagnoze.

Have as good a day as you can friends. Sober and clean. Love.

Back home. Luna and me are glad to be back together. I’m going to make the best of the rest of my time off work although not quite sure how yet. It won’t involve boozing or drinking, that’s for sure.

Berlin was really great. Met some wonderful people and saw a lot of beautiful stuff. I liked the more residential areas best, like Kreuzberg, Neukölln, Schöneberg, Moabit and Prenzlauer Berg. The Mitte area at the heart of the city, with its huge imposing government buildings and museums seems to me more built to impress and intimidate. Just like any big nation builds 'm. I prefer the human scale and Berlin certainly does has that too. Lots of it. I’ll be back  :bear: :boar: X

The pic is of the Hauptbahnhof, one of the structures erected on the place where the Wall was, where I caught my :steam_locomotive: home yesterday.

Day 7 sober from alcohol

I slept this night most of the time, although having to change clothes twice because of sweating it all through.
Will change the bed this afternoon.

Have to take my ass somehow to the doctor, because they need my chip card for the sick leave, as i changed my insurance beginning of April. Will drive in the park house, that is connected to a shopping center with a l
Lidl (german grocery discounter).
So I can buy a bag of fresh things.

So the ways won’t be too long. Will use some elevators… And that’s what I never do. It’s a trick to stay fit, to always use the stairs :sunglasses:… But now, I am not fit at all.

Kill the virus :fist:t2:
It feels good to be sober - Love :black_heart::panda_face:

Day 95.

I’m getting sick and tired of constantly feeling sick and tired. Yesterday, my cold gave me respite. Today, it’s back with a vengeance.

Holy batman a bad using dream. Ive had some on and off the past couple of months but last night was a one year milestone inspired dread. I got wasted and was bruised up, ashamed, and guilty. I thought maybe i should go to a meeting, which is good. And a friend said you slipped you might as well do it up this weekend and i thought about it and couldnt see myself stopping but the desire was back in full force.

So although the nitemare sucked there were a few positives: i thought to get back to an aa meeting, i felt the dreaded guilt and shame and it reaffirms i would lose the forward momentum getting sober has brought to my life.

Using nightmares suck! I feel icky! But im up at 5am to hit the gym which is amazing progress for me.

Fuck weed and alcohol. I choose sobriety!

Isn’t that just the absolute truth. Thank you so much for sharing, dear friend. I am sorry you’re going through this but at the same time I am not sorry because I know you have the tools and strength within you to continue to fight this. You’re getting after it in a powerful way, lady. Glad you’re here with us.
