today while my friends are out drinking and doing drugs, I will be getting tooth gems put on and have a nice take awake for tea.

Got up super early and we went for a walk in the deluge of rain. Always enjoyable 
Made fajitas for lunch and will watch some football and a movie maybe. Getting a long walk in early was brilliant as exercise all done by ten amā¦

It is very rainy here but temperature wise itās not to cold, so Iāll take it. Should be an easy -ish day in work.

Day 57 AF and another Friday in the bank.
Sons team won their first round of playoffs last night with an aggregate score of 24-3 in the best of 5 series in 3 straightā¦ it wasnāt much of a competition for this first round.
I apologize for speaking so often of his hockey. Itās going to be hard as this is his last season playing competitive sports.
Weāve been together heading to a rink from 5-20 years of age. His season typically starts late Aug through April with camps , and tryouts, playoffs etc so to say this was a massive part of his and my life is an understatement.
Itās a closing chapter that I am glad to be sober to take in every second, mind you I never let alcohol get in the way of him and I headed to the ice rink. My drinking was planned around ensuring I was there every step of the way for those 15 yearsā¦ I certainly am going to miss it.
My wife leaves tomorrow as well for 3 weeks so just lots happening and all of it means a lot of alone time through the next while.
That all said, and while I am having a lot of reminiscing around his hockey, it is a beautiful day out, Iām gonna take the boys (dogs, Bauer and Cooper, see what I did with them?? lol) for a walk and hit the gym for a couple hours.
If any of you have kids in sports, especially ones that you both put a lot of time into or not, enjoy every secondā¦ I was just tying his skates up, watching him stumble all over the ice the other day when he was just 5, now heās a 20 year old young man, on the leadership group of a very talented team that we have big hopes for this yearā¦ it slips by sooo fast.

Day 108 just relaxing with my girls. Going to make some meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner. Yesterday at work was good, I had emergency department and it was busy, the guy who has been training me pointed out a few flaws which kinda irritated me, but I just realized heās doing his job. I am flawed and have things to fix regardless of work or life or w.e, so I may of have gotten a little irritated but I realized heās just doing his job too. I have been talking to a new girl and it was nothing to serious, we did hook up but after that I kinda laid back and just chilled bc idk Im just not trying to rush into anything and honestly Iāve been so focused on being a good employee that a relationship was really the last thing on my mind. But we have been talking and last night she told me she got really high and drunk and hooked up with someone else. It didnāt even surprise me or hurt my feelings, I just said ok and blocked her. Iām in good spirits and just focusing on staying sober and relaxing with my girls. I might pick up Wednesday and work but boy that would be 7 days and then just Monday off so Iād be pretty tired but boy that money would be good lol. Idk much love everyone

Went on run this morning at 6 am and then got back and made pancakes and brought some to my wife for breakfast in bed. Then ate breakfast and taking a slow morning. Got to do sishes and some cleaning today. Then maybe and then relax. So far a good day. Got to do some prayer today and maybe some journaling.
