Checking-in with yesterday’s numbers…
In the morning I drove to my hometown and back, to attend my Asthma review appointment. She wanted me to try a powder inhaler but I couldn’t breathe in sharply for long enough, so she prescribed a steroid inhaler and a spacer. This should help with any inflammation. I have to record my peak flow until I next see her mid-April. She wants to refer me for a Spirometry test but said it would be difficult to judge the results whilst I have fluid on my lungs so this will have to wait.
I also managed to do 1.5hrs of decluttering in the hallway, I’m attempting to make it so the spare room is accessible ready to declutter that with the professional declutterer.
Today I plan to go through my collection of medications, so I can take a list with me to the pharmacy later, when I collect my Asthma items, to tell them which repeat meds to pause and how long for, because I’ve got more than I need at the moment and they are taking up a lot of space.
This evening I have my appointment about the fluid on my lungs, so we’ll see how that goes. I will likely be referred for an X-ray and then have another appointment to discuss further. I’m trying not to worry too much about it, but I’m feeling big shame for my historical smoking, vaping, and cocaine use. Like whatever it is, it’s my fault, and the ubcomfortableness of that is making me want to numb with binge-eating, but I’m not going to.

Checking in on Day 13. I’m happy about creeping up on two weeks. Sleep has been excellent last couple of nights, just like @RosaCanDo said.
I’m right at the ‘getting a whole lot better’ stage. I need to get stuff done! Going to get coffeed up and work on some plans. Things can’t be found in my head. 
There are many projects but no plans…haha

You’re right on time, Danez! I found that if I let myself feel whatever came up it never overwhelmed me at all. I was always afraid when drinking to face things. Just felt bad then it would pass. The next day I would be further along in my recovery, more steady.

So, I was just sitting here, thinking, alot. And, Im turning 35 this year. My dad died when he was 50, from alcohol. The last couple of years of my drinking I drank ALOT. I mean crazy amount. Have I kept going I would have been dead.

Afternoon folks! Today is 171 af. Nothing spectacular today. Just getting some stuff for one of grandsons birthday. Next Tuesday he will be 7. How that happened I have no clue! My first born grand, and only girl out of 5, will be 15 this year.

ride, thanks Sophia. As to the weather: we just had the wettest warmest winter ever. As you might know the average temperature world wide is the highest ever for nine consecutive months now. And in Europe it’s a bit more. Anyway. Indeed our local climate is warmer than yours. And today was a particular warm day. We do sometimes have snow at the end of April though.
