I am a knitter and I love it. I even knit during work and I find it so relaxing and soothing. I have two projects going. My favorite one is with size 50 needles. Sorry no pictures but I’ll take some.

Oh, I kind of just do a few rows here and there, so maybe a month? I am new to knitting. I am not adding any rows or making holes anymore…so a plus!!

Are you a knitter too?

No, not at all. I can barely draw a stick figure let alone knit a scarf. I didn’t get the artistic gene.

I love crochet. I started couple of years ago with knitting when I quitted smoking. I did knitting as a teenager. And switched to crochet. I make blankets as a gift to family snd friends and I love the time making it.
The friends blanket (a pattern not my fantasy) was a gift to my daughter in law. We both like the serie :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Since I’m experiencing a stretch of insomnia over the last few days, I decided to open up the embroidery starter kit my mom gave me. I haven’t done it since I was a preteen…I need brighter light to see! I’m practicing on a tea cloth for now. The sampler looks pretty and now that I’ve started I know I’ll need a lot of practice!

I love embroidery, haven’t done it since childhood days either. Thanks for bringing it up Rosa! It’s a wonderful thing. So verrry pretty! Imagine embroidering and then trimming with self made lace :ok_hand::ok_hand: #grandmalivegoals

Knitted a couple placements for my little dinette, since regular sized store-bought ones don’t fit. I’m happy with them! I still need to block them. I have one more in progress and plan to make 4 total that are more matching in colors for two sets.

I made this baby pullover for my friend’s kid a while ago. First one I ever made, just made it up. Fit the wee one like a glove. Bingo.

These chunky squares will be sewn together to make a throw blanket. Wool acrylic blend. An easy, mindless (or mindful!) project for the winter. I’m about halfway there.
