I crochet at meetings and when watching YouTube or tv. Keeps me productive, helps to decrease my smoking as I’m am wanting to quit, just not there yet.
I learn a lot on YouTube, such as patterns and counting stitches to make them, changing colors. I always have a project going, and all my family gets wedding gifts, baby gifts, Christmas gifts.
I recently bought a , and will finally make myself something… An afghan for my new bedroom.
Never thought I’d be able to do anything but single or double crochet blankets. When I figure out how, I’ll share some pics.
Love the wavey shell pattern and the virus shawl.
Thanks for sharing this!
Please do share some of your projects in time! Sounds intriguing!
Not sure how to upload a pic… Just has the link when I try to upload.
The pic has to be on your device.
O, it was me trying to see if I had made enough squares for a queen sized blanket. Obviously not… lol.
I’m making my first quilt. It’s amazing how much more time and money I have now that I’m not drinking and this quilt is taking up quite a bit of both!
My dad passed about a year and a half ago and I saved his dress shirts with the idea to make a quilt out of them. Finally I have the energy and focus to make it happen!
It is on my device, but I click to use pic and only a link appears when I try to share it.
Oh wow this is very pretty! A shawl yes?
Lovely colour flow and shape!
I love the colors. I have made it but yours is prettier!
I learned from this great book, Stitch and Bitch. It was very easy and I watched a bunch of videos too whenever I got stuck. Good luck! Yarn stores become the most beautiful thing very quickly…
I would like to know where a good start is for this activity having no exposure or experience on it. It seems like my cup of tea. I need some hobby to pick up aside from the norm.
Beautiful work everyone!! Love all the colors.
Classic first projects for crocheting would be pot holders or coasters. For knitting I started, many moons ago, with a scarf, one left one right stitch. Search on YouTube for an introduction. Have fun!
