Friday a.m sparring done and dusted. Took a few good shots, gave a few good shots. Thats what its all about.

Bruuuuuuuh

I sweat my :peach: off today in the gym. Definitely did not get enough protein in me before work because I was grumpy.
Hit chest, biceps, triceps, etc… mainly arms were the focus.
Stretches and did incline treadmill today instead of stair climber. Everyone and their mother were on em today lol

Hi Jazzy!!!

Thank you! I feel relieved and motivated.
I did some mobility stuff earlier this morning but did download the Smartwod app someone mentioned on the other thread … the workout generator.
I did not see the actual challenge (if there’s one posted)… still trying to navigate this forum correctly.
Anywho, thank you for your share and your encouragement. I feel it’s easier for me to do something when I’m challenged and being part of that thread will be motivational for me! Thanks!!

Oh i’m glad to hear it. I do find the challenges to be very helpful in motivating me also. Glad you are here with us and we will kick ass in August together.

Had to take a break today (little sleep last night with food poisoning and work up with massive headache then day just got super busy) - hope to be back at it tomorrow.

Going to step things up a little for Marathon prep. Heading out for a half mara this morning. Hamstring is feeling surprisingly good after a couple days rest and gentle stretching. I’m going steady in or around 8:45 min/mile. I’d be very happy if I can complete this session with no major concerns. Maintain steady pace through to the last mile and no hamstring issues. That’s all I want today.
Also having the motivation to get myself out the door and sticking to this block of training will do me a world of good.
I’ll check back in later for anyone who is interested.
