Hoping one day I can manage a marathon
I was shattered after my bike ride yesterday so i had to skip my arms and legs day, so today it is. Preacher curls,reverse curls.hammer curls,seated tricep extension,front and reverse wrist curls.
Squats,hack squats and calf raises.
All 4 sets of 12 to 15 apart from calf raises up to 40 or failure and wrist curls up to 50 or failure.
You might thinking why only 3 leg exercises and why no deadlift in any of my routines,simple reason is I dont like doing them!! and as im on my feet mostly walking around for 9 hrs per day i tell myself this is enough for my legs

Just want to say how inspired i am of all of you! I was last on this thread 10 days ago!!! Illness has taken me down for a bit but Im feeling better and am ready to get back at it starting Tuesday (Monday my son has an early appt so cant workout). But reading thru everyones fitness posts has me excited to get back to it. Proud of all of u on this health journey!
Ditto. Hopefully you start feeling better soon my friend. I know it’s harder to work out when your body is using all its energy in healing. Look forward to seeing you back in the gym
Thanks Jasmine! Me too. I really feel like ive put on a bit of weight over these past 10 days or so. Not feeling the greatest physically right now, but thankfully that can be changed. Ill try to get some exercise in on monday in some way. Have to find something to do at home tho.
For me YouTube is gold …so many different workouts available and I can improvise when Im somewhere without my weights or bands.
I usually play around and watch clips of different videos till I find a instructor I Vibe with…I think it’s important to enjoy the person as much as the exercises. Just a thought if you have time to Google work outside that you may enjoy.
I’ve been doing different HIIT exercises and they really have been getting my heart rate going

We all do what we can, right? No point beating yourself up over exercise that you haven’t been able to do, it takes the fun out of it if you ask me!
Ur 100% right! My body needed rest for sure. In fact, if i would have pushed thru and exercised when my body didnt want to, i probably would have made my illness worse. I love exercise tho. The trouble with going 10+ days without it is just get my mojo back lol but it will come.
Busy 2 days off! I just went for a short 4K walk!

Very nice! Stick to it… Mess up then you can just make up the workout make sure your getting your Protien in… I use fat secret a good free app to track it all.
Everyone is different, you may want to after a few weeks think about increasing or decreasing amounts…
