Eckhart Tolle, cravings and identity

And how did you find it?

As I recall (which is sketchy, because it was decades ago), I found it enlightening and helpful. Well worth a read.

I started the power of now. But it was difficult to get my head into it. This was 6 months ago when I was in a different place.
Time to give it another shot.

So are we talking good ego here. Doesn’t Tolle talk about needing a certain amount of ego.

According to ACIM and The Beatles…

Just read this again in the light of what has also been said on here tonight and it’s amazing how it now making sense.
My problem has always been that I can understand a concept but can never find the words to explain what it is. Definitely could never describe the awakening of a soul like this, but it makes perfect sense.

Geoff listen to the audio or watch him speak on youtube, I found that so much easier than the book!

I think he would say that one would never find true lasting peace and happiness by feeding the ego.

Love this, your patients are very lucky people :blue_heart:

I started watching the link you sent me the other week. It ended up just being on in the background whilst I talked with you lot. :joy:
I’m getting a new kindle, so I will try again then, I think half my problem was trying to read books on my phone and it just wasn’t working out.
I have struggled with reading full stop this last year, no matter what the contents of the books.
