Me, 54/57. I do cardio every other day for about 40 mins so i think that’s pretty good. I know when i was drinking, my resting BPM was up around mid 60’s! The cancer causing, addicive poison is definitely hard on the ticker…
36, male. Mine dropped from 96 to 76, on average, over the first two weeks of sobriety. Fitbit Versa.
I stopped drinking mid April 2018…I got my Fitbit end of December 2017. I know my resting HR wasn’t that terribly high to begin with, but you can see it’s dropped and stayed consistent since I’ve become sober
Through the watch, the watch has a heart rate monitor that collects the data and syncs it through Bluetooth to the app on my phone
From Fitbit help:
It’s pretty awesome the data it collects and then calculates in the app I think to sync to the Fitbit app, it needs to be a Fitbit brand watch. It’s worth investing in, imo…

Yep. It’s part of how they keep me sucked in as I really like their long term stats analysis.
Some do, yeah. The Ionic does.
Oh. And several can do connected GPS if you have your phone.
Don’t know what ya mean by analyze, but it tracks it and gives you lots of stats depending on the type of workout.
(Also, sorry @NorCalPa! We’re totally derailing here…)
Love my Fitbit iconic
My Versa locks within 10 s or less. But it uses my phone, sooo…
For this one I find it’s pretty accurate, within a few BPM and usually better around nominal HR. It can get a little weird if you’re twisting the wrist around a lot. And none of the optical wrist monitors can go past 180 BPM though, as far as I know.
No worries
Mine does, the Ionic
Ya love mine
My fave thing about the fitbit is that it tracks your sleep!! My resting heart rate seems to hover around 65, 30 years old.
You don’t need to use your phone with the watch, but it complies all the data on it if you want to see it over a certain amount of time vs just that day.
You don’t have to have your phone with you for the data to be transferred to the app either. You just have to sync your watch and phone once a day via Bluetooth, which it will do automatically.
If you use a laptop, there would be Bluetooth options to sync the watch that way.
