Thanks Eric, besides this being my second quarantine this month and this time the chance of me getting covid is like 95% since my sister has it and my mom is showing symptoms, Iā€™m pretty good. Last few days have been a bit rough, relapsed on youtube hard(what a surpriseā€¦I cant moderateā€¦noone could have guessed :man_facepalming:) but iā€™ll get my shit together. I realized last night that i was relapsing and not moderating so I deleted my youtube account. Im hopeful for today

Omg thatā€™s delicious l, and it would definitely be a nice lunch for me. Living in the middle of nowhere makes treats like that rare.

I thought you were talking about the Taquitos I made last night. :joy: But the Mickey Dā€™s was actually pretty good too.

You would have to get it without the bun though.

I missed that, but I saw it now. That looks even more delicious :heart_eyes::star_struck:
McDonaldā€™s here does have a gluten-free option. So Iā€™d go for that :blush:

Love the little green trees! I ate sooooo much earlier this year that I had to take a break, haha! But itā€™s back on the menu. Roasted is so yummy.

Today I found some Fika, actually a classic Fika treat I can eat. Itā€™s called Chocolate Ball, but my kids just say Cake ball. They are made of oats, butter, sugar, cocoa powder and rolled in coconut flakes or sugar pearls.
And some Tropicana Juice on sale only $2.
Happy Fika Time.

I just do white wine vinegar any vinegar will do and some purple onion. But yours sounds really good too. still cook with booze if the recipe calls for it. Like white wine vinegar. I guess some people might not be able to do that though.

Since your going into summer @Apes2020 I got a fantastic chilled cool cuke soup I make. If your interested. Itā€™s fairly easy to make. You do need a blender cream and chicken stock though. And of course cucumbers too. I could post a pic of the recipe.

Going back to my Mexican heritage for dinner tonight. Shrimp tostadas with homemade pico de gallo with garden tomatoes. Epic. Iā€™ve been wanting to make these for a long time.

Those look great :+1: wifey donā€™t like shrimp unless itā€™s fried so I donā€™t do stuff like that. Maybe I could get some to go?:joy:

Oh and I love the hat :slightly_smiling_face:

Making Risotto tonight. Pic to follow unless I eat it first :joy:

Toast your sesame seeds lightly in a dry non-stick pan before usingā€¦ Soooo much better.
I keep a container of toasted sesame on-hand to sprinkle in sandwiches, over salads, or anything reallyā€¦ They are just too delicious and bring such a wonderful flavour and aroma to things.

Got my first rye on today @Olivia
I am definitely going to need some younger teeth for this one. Iā€™ll find out tomorrow. Not much rise in it. Weā€™ll see how it goes.

Ah yes weā€™ve got treats too,but we call them challow cakes. An in Tennessee snowcones is something different. Like an Ice slushy in a ball shape (and in a cone) with the flavor poured into it.

@Apes2020
Hereā€™s the pic of my Cuke Soup recipe.
Iā€™m terrible at writing out and following recipes. Sorry
Chix = Chicken broth
Green O = Green Onion.
Cuke = cucumber
1/2 and 1/2 is a type of light cream like youā€™d put in your coffee. Not sure what you call it in OZ.

Iā€™d be happy to type it up better for ya if you like.

We donā€™t have those in Sweden, even Iced slushy are rare and expensive. Iā€™ll pay about $3 for the smallest size here.
