Potato poisoning!?! No way wow lol. Maybe it’s the fermentation in them that makes vodka so your kinda getting alcohol poisoning before you even drink lol?? I’m going to do some googling now.
If you start with that have green skin, and eat a bunch, you can get an alkaloid poisoning, but it takes a good amount.
Use instant potatoes and be safe…or indulge in my favorite: Airfryer tater tots.
love the cup!
Good to know Tater tots can be so amazing when they’re done right! Also your gyoza looks delicious. My SO loves iced barley tea. I’ve never been a fan, but that’s lucky for him because that means his tea never mysteriously disappears.
@apes2020 One Thanksgiving, forever ago, I ate my weight’s worth of potatoes and almost nothing else. I was deathly sick for the rest of the day. Maybe it was just me being a glutton, but after doing some reading online I decided that the potatoes were striking back and have since cut my mashed potato consumption down to a couple times a year with no seconds. Also, can we just say how amazing your waffle looks???
I will never look at potatoes the same again lol
@apes2020 waffle sunday - sounds so good, looks even better!
it’s still saturday here. and in winter, that means it’s soup saturday
@Chiron cabbage soup… ta da! tastes better than it looks
Ooh that cabbage soup looks great. Being Polish, and my dad did a lot of the cooking, we did many things cabbage. Lots of soups. I miss his galumpkes. With his secret ingredient Maybe some day I’ll try it. But it sounds like a lot of work for 2 people to eat. Can you freeze galumpkes? Sorry for the cabbage conversation. I came on here to post
CHRISTMAS IS CANCELLED.
I’m eating Rudolph and enjoying every bit of it Even sucking out bone marrow like locals do That red stuff is lingonberry jam. Don’t get confused, gang
Galumpkes? I had no idea that was the real name for cabbage rolls!
Not Polish, but I do love a good cabbage roll. Making them is a lot of work, but it’s fun if you have the time for all of the steps - I’ll usually make the tomato sauce the day before and then the filling and assemble the rolls the next day - or spread it out on a weekend day. And yes - you can bake them and then freeze for reheating. Perfect!
Your tacos look amazing! What’s the marinade in the spicy slaw?
I just like to use the “Thai Kitchen” brand sweet red chili sauce. I love sweet and spicy. Oh and of course mayonnaise. Thanks for the cabbage roll tip. But I’m disappointed you didn’t ask me about my fathers “secret ingredient” I thought for sure that would get asked since
I put a big out there. Please ask me
@Olivia I can see you’ll be getting a couple of lumps of coal for Christmas this year. Please don’t eat the reindeer.
@Hailstrom that dish with the bangers looks great. But where’s the mash?
No mash for me, I do keto. Just give me the meat and the veggies
I do the seefood diet.
I see food and I eat it
They look great from here. I’m glad there’s about ten states between me and those bad boys. They don’t look like your typical Dunkin. Football and donuts Sunday? Enjoy

I’m doing football and pot roast Sunday.
I can’t wait for the carrots and onions. That’s my favorite part. I can’t remember the last time I did one. Thanks to @RosaCanDo pics last week I thought DANG that looks great!! So while Brady and Rogers are going at it my roast will be stinking up my house.
